How to Obtain Pikachu in Pokemon Legends ZA
Players can obtain Pikachu in two different ways in Pokemon Legends ZA. You can either catch a Pichu and evolve it into a Pikachu, or you can directly catch it in the wild.
1. Catch Pichu and Evolve it
Pichu can be found very early in the game, at Wild Zone 1. Once you have obtained TM Rock Smash, you can break the boulders that are blocking your way. Go to the back entrance of Wild Zone 1, following the alleyway. Enter the Zone and make sure you are quiet and sneaky, as Pichu will run away if it spots you.
Aim at it and throw a Poke Ball. Make sure that you save your game before you throw the Poke Ball, as Pichu will run away if it breaks free. This way, you can reload the game and come back to the same spot. Once you have Pichu, head to Novuveau Cafe and have any coffee four times. This will max out the friendship between you and your Pokemon, allowing Pichu to evolve into Pikachu.
2. Catch a Pikachu
The best option to get a Pikachu will be catching it in a Wild Zone. Pikachu spawns in Wild Zone 3 at Rouge Plaza during the day and night. You can always sneak and catch it. However, they are very much alert all the time, so your best shot will be battling and then catching it. You can always reset the Wild Zone respawn by teleporting somewhere far or coming back again after some time.
3. Catching an Alpha Pikachu
Alpha Pikachu is your last and most difficult shot at getting yourself the Pokemon. You can find one of level 41 sitting on a rooftop inside the Wild Zone 6 area. Like any Alpha Pokemon, this one will be very aggressive, and you might need to be careful while dodging and attacking. The catch rate of Alpha Pikachu is also very low, which means you’ll need a few tries before getting one.
How to Evolve Pikachu in Legends ZA
Evolving a Pikachu is very simple in Legends ZA. The level of your Pikachu doesn’t matter, as you can just use the Thunder Stone from the item section of the Menu on it, and it will evolve. You can buy Thunder Stone at the Stone Emporium or get it from the red Poke Ball items scattered throughout Lumiose City.
