With the release of the 39.40 update, the developers have surprised players by revealing the KPop Demon Hunters Jinu skin in Fortnite.
The Jinu skin, based on one of the antagonists of KPop Demon Hunters, was announced as part of Fortnite’s Love and Legends Valentine’s Day event. Players will be pleased to know that not only can you buy this new KPDH skin, but you can also get a chance to claim it for free. Here’s everything you need to know.
Fortnite K-Pop Demon Hunters Jinu Skin: How to Get All Cosmetics for Free
Fortnite announced the Jinu skin as part of the roadmap for the game’s Love and Legends update in celebration of Valentine’s Day. While players were expecting Jinu to just be available in the Fortnite Item Shop, Epic has provided players with an opportunity to earn the new skin through the Fortnite K-Pop Demon Hunters Cup. This tournament will take place on February 6, 2026, and players need to place high in the cup to get the Jinu skin for free.
The Fortnite K-Pop Demon Hunters Cup is a solo tournament and will take place in the Battle Royale mode across all platforms. Here are the placements players require to earn the Jinu skin and other cosmetics in the new Cup:

Fortnite Rumi & Jinu Skin Bundle: Release Date, Cosmetic Items, and Prices
If you end up underperforming in the solo cup and miss out on your chance at the free Jinu skin, don’t worry. The Jinu skin will arrive in the Fortnite Item Shop on February 6, 2026, at 7 AM ET as part of the Rumi & Jinu Bundle. The bundle, featuring both the Jinu and Golden Rumi skins, will likely be priced at 3,000 V-Bucks. Here are all the items that will be included in the bundle that we know of so far:

- Golden Rumi skin – 1,500 V-Bucks
