Sam Bridges is back to work as another massive connecting journey awaits him in the sequel, Death Stranding 2. While the primary mode of traversal continues to be walking, you will unlock different modes of transport as you progress through Death Stranding 2. A majority of the vehicles from the original game make a return in Death Stranding: On the Beach, including the Trike. If you are tired of walking and need a motorcycle, find out how to get your first vehicle in Death Stranding 2.
How to Unlock Trike (Motorcycle) in Death Stranding 2
Your first vehicle is going to be Tri-Cruisers, aka Trike, which can be unlocked in the early hours of Death Stranding 2. On Fragile’s request, Sam is back to delivering cargos, and the initial mission is to connect the Mexico region. And that is where you can unlock the Tri-Cruiser motorcycle.
1. Complete Order 5 by Reaching the Former Geophysics Research Lab

On the 5th main order, you will be tasked to defeat the BTs nearby. Then, you need to deliver the prototype bullets to Alex Weatherstone (yes, the guy from the Weather Station in the first game) at the Former Geophysics Research Lab.
This research lab is the final region that you need to connect to the Chiral network in Mexico. Bring back the goods to Alex and connect the lab to the chiral network using your Q-Pid. After a couple of exchanges, you will be advised to head to your private room and sleep. Then, go ahead and sleep to complete a cutscene with Dead Man.
2. Defeat the Gigantic BT Outside the Former Geophysics Research Lab

Dead Man will pay you a visit in Hologram form while you are sleeping. While Dead Man shares a message with Sam, a giant skull BT will spawn outside the lab. So, naturally, your conversation with Dead Man will come to an end abruptly, and you will need to head above to fight the very first boss in the game. Grab your essential equipment and weapon, and defeat the massive BT boss.
3. Finish Your Conversation with Alex

After defeating the boss, you need to head back into the research lab. You will be prompted to enter your private room once again, and you can now finish your talk with Dead Man peacefully.
Once the conversation concludes, leave your private room and report to the delivery terminal. Here, you will have a word with Alex, and he will confirm that you can fabricate Tri-Cruisers with two front wheels.
4. Fabricate the Tri-Cruiser at the Garage
Once you complete your conversation with Alex, access the delivery terminal in front of you. Then, select the Garage option. You need 220 metals, 160 ceramics, and 10 chemicals to fabricate a Tri-Cruiser.
If you have the required resources, select Fabricate Vehicles to start producing the Tri-Cruiser. The fabricated bike will appear in the lab as you head out.
Things to Remember While Riding Tri-Cruisers
Similar to the first game, the remodeled trike called Tri-Cruiser consumes battery while riding. So, make sure to carry a PCC with you all the time to recharge it when you run out of battery. Moreover, you can build a generator only within the Chiral Network. You can also make use of generators built by the online community to recharge your Tri-Cruiser.

Traveling via built roads and within preppers’ locations won’t consume any battery. You can unlock armors, extra battery units, and anti-gravity units for your vehicle as you progress through the story. Tri-Cruisers are one of the best vehicles in Death Stranding 2, and you are free to fabricate it after finishing Order 5 in the main story.
