How to Claim Free Dark Voyager Sidekick in Fortnite

You can claim the Dark Voyager Sidekick in Fortnite for free by participating in the upcoming Fortnite Shattered live event with friends. The live event will take place on June 5, 2026, at 7 PM ET, with the doors opening at 6:20 PM ET. This live event will mark the end of Chapter 7 Season 2, with the servers going into downtime immediately after.

Players who attend the event solo will automatically receive the free Fortnite Dark Voyager pickaxe. However, for the Dark Voyager Sidekick, players need to attend the Shattered live event with 1 or more friends. Players can have up to 3 other members in their squad during the live event to claim the free Fortnite Sidekick. Here are the steps you can follow when the event goes live:

• Launch Fortnite and select the Shattered live event playlist.
• Invite 1 or more friends to your party to experience the event together.
• Ready up with your squad and play the live event.
• After the event, check your Locker.
• You should find the Dark Voyager Sidekick and Pickaxe in your Fortnite locker.

Fortnite servers will go into downtime immediately after the Shattered live event. This means that players are likely to receive the Dark Voyager Sidekick when they load into Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 for the first time.
