Marvel Rivals continues to flesh out its Times Square map in some very interesting ways. The hub has hosted everything from New Year’s Ball Drops to an Ant-Man-inspired sandwich shop, and more recently, an underground Disco Club. Joining the many activities on this hub is a new combat area, which will finally allow players to engage in friendly 1v1 duels.
Named the Clobberin’ Club (after the Thing’s catchphrase), the location can be tricky to find, but really easy to figure out once you’re there. Nevertheless, here’s everything you need to know about the Marvel Rivals Clobberin Club, including how to duel other players.
Marvel Rivals Clobberin Club Location
The Marvel Rivals Clobberin Club is located in the same underground area as the Disco Ballroom. Follow these steps to locate it:
- Walk straight towards the Disco, and head down the stairs located on either side of the entrance
- Soon after entering, you’ll spot a door on the left side, with the Clobberin Club’s poster plastered above
- Head inside and you’ll instantly find a sprawling arena, packed with tens of spectating players and two Rivals duking it out in the middle.
How to Start 1V1 Duel in Marvel Rivals Clobberin Club
To challenge any player to a 1V1 Duel, simply walk up to them in the Clobberin Club and hit the Interact button. You’ll see an option to ‘Duel‘ at the bottom, select it, pick between a Private or Public Duel, and hit ‘Initiate.’ A request will be sent to the player, and if they accept it, your duel will start within seconds.
You’ll be taken to the hero select screen at the start of every duel and in between rounds. So, there’s no reason to worry if you didn’t initiate the challenge while playing as your main character.
How to Change Duel Rules in Clobberin Club
After your challenge is accepted, you’ll be transported to a platform with a console sitting in the middle. Interact with it to adjust rules and parameters, such as Points Needed to Win or adding a Ban Phase. You can even switch the Duel Type from Classic to Random (Heroes switch after every round), or Unique (select a limited pool of heroes pre-match).
Once you’re done tweaking the options, hit the ‘Save Duel’ button to finally start your match.
How to Broadcast Clobberin Club Match on Times Square
If you want your Clobberin Club duels to be displayed on Times Square’s biggest screen, all you need to do is select the Public Duel option while sending a challenge. It’ll cost you 100 Units, but at least your victory will be witnessed by dozens of other players.
