How to Get the Sunken Rod in Roblox Fisch

In Short
  • The Sunken Rod can be obtained from the Treasure Chests located using the Treasure Maps.
  • Treasure Maps can be obtained through fishing and fixed by interacting with the Pirate NPC in the cave at the Forsaken Shores.
  • The Sunken Rod's passive ability gives you a great chance at obtaining a treasure map on every ten catches.

Roblox Fisch has introduced a new island known as the Forsaken Shores in its latest expansion update. This pirate-themed update introduces some new features, including treasure chests, nukes, and a new fishing rod called the Sunken rod. The Sunken Rod has some pretty decent stats and a new passive ability, thereby becoming a great option for the endgame players. With that said, let’s learn how to get the Sunken Rod in Roblox Fisch.

How to Get the Sunken Rod in Fisch

Getting the Sunken Rod is quite a straightforward process. However, it depends on your luck how fast you can complete the intermediate steps and finally get the rod. Obtaining a Treasure Map will be your first task, followed by getting its coordinates fixed and finally heading towards the location marked as X on that Map. That said, follow the steps described below to get the rod.

1. Get a Treasure Map

The only way to get a Treasure Map in Fisch is through fishing, and it will be caught randomly alongside a fish. The latest hotfix changes have increased the drop rate of Treasure Maps in Fisch from 1/350 to 1/160. You may redeem the latest Roblox Fisch Codes to gain an additional boost in the Lure speed. I would recommend using a Fast Rod or a Rapid Rod to increase the number of fishes you catch within a given time.

Since these maps are consumables and not affected by luck, using the Aurora Totem and applying Merlin’s luck will be of no use. Remember that the Treasure map and the fish caught with it are stored separately in your inventory.

2. Fix the Coordinates on the Treasure Map

Once you have obtained a Treasure Map, you will notice that the Y and Z coordinates are missing it. To unlock those coordinates, climb up the ladder near the pond mentioned in the previous section. Repeat the process of climbing up the ladders twice till you reach the very top of the mountain.

Now, head to the cave in the northwest direction, where you will find the pirate NPC Jack Marrow.
He will ask for 250 cash to fix your map. The map will show all the coordinates as you give him the money.

3. Get the Sunken Rod

Acquiring a GPS in Fisch is a must as it will show your current coordinates while sailing in the ocean. You may buy the GPS for a mere 100 cash from the chair near the pond in Moosewood. Now that you have fixed your map, head out in the ocean with your boat and follow the coordinates as shown in it. You may consider having a diving gear in your backpack as you may sometimes find the treasure chest sunken under the water.

Opening a treasure chest will allow you to obtain the Sunken Rod and other rewards like Fillionare Tickets, Aurora Totem, Enchant Relics, and Weird Algae. This might take a bit of grinding as it depends on how lucky you are to get the rod on your first try.

Roblox Fisch Sunken Rod Stats

The Sunken Rod has a great Resilience stat which you may not find in the Destiny or the Trident Rods. Resilience will help you catch the rarest fishes easily, even when it decreases the progress speed. Moreover, this rod comes with a passive ability giving you a huge chance at obtaining a Treasure map on every 10 catches while fishing in the game. The stats for the Sunken Rod are as follows:

  • Lure Speed: 10%
  • Luck: 60%
  • Control: 0.04
  • Resilience: 5%
  • Max Kg: 5000kg

So, these were all the steps you should follow to get the latest black and green patterned Sunken Rod in Roblox Fisch.
