  2. You should hear a warning, “Pressing the button will reset the device. Release it if you want to cancel”.

How to Reset Google Home Mini (2nd Generation)

The reset process for the 2nd gen Home Mini is almost the same as the first one. The steps are a little different here as there is no reset button.

  1. Switch off the microphone on the side of the speaker.
  2. Now, press and hold the center of the speaker where the lights show up.
  3. After 5 seconds, you should hear a warning message. This indicates that the factory reset process has begun. Continue pressing the center for 10 seconds more.
  4. Let go once you hear a single bell sound.
