Rappa is a 5-star Erudition character with the Imaginary Damage type and she is an AoE Break DPS, and many of her attacks reduce Toughness regardless of enemy Weakness type. Rappa’s kit in HSR is focused on Break Effect, dealing a high amount of Break Damage and converting it to Super Break damage after weakness breaking enemies. She also has a Basic Attack focused kit, with her Ultimate enhancing her Basic Attack and locking away her Skill and Ultimate for 3 turns.

  • Ninjutsu: Rise Above Tumbles (Basic Attack): Deals Imaginary damage to one enemy based on Rappa’s Attack.
  • Ningu: Dembane Petalblade (Enhanced Basic Attack): When she launches this attack, the first 2 hits deal Blast Imaginary Damage based on her Attack and the the 3rd hit deals AoE Imaginary Damage. When attacking enemies without Imaginary Weakness, this attack can still deal Toughness Reduction to the enemies, but at a 50% lesser value, and triggering Weakness Break this way triggers the Imaginary Weakness Break Effect. Her Enhanced Basic attacks don’t recover Skill Points.
  • Ninja Strike: Rooted Resolute (Skill): Deals AoE Imaginary damage to enemies based on Rappa’s Attack.
  • Nindō Supreme: Aishiteru (Ultimate): Rappa enters the Sealform state immediately gaining 1 extra turn and obtaining 3 points of Chroma Ink, which increases Weakness Break Efficiency by 50% and Break Effect. While in this state, Rappa’s Basic Attack becomes enhanced and her Ultimate and Skill become locked. When Rappa uses an Enhanced Attack, she consumes 1 point of Chroma Ink and after all points are depleted, she exits the Sealform state.
  • Ninja Tech: Endurance Gauge (Talent): When enemy targets have their Weakness Broken, Rappa deals Break Damage equal to a percentage of her Imaginary Break damage to them, which Bounces 2 times additionally. Each instance of damage deals a 10 Toughness reduction, regardless of the Weakness Type to random enemies. The Toughness reduction effect only works on enemies with Toughness greater than 0 and the added instances of Damage prioritize enemies with Toughness Reduction greater than 0.
  • Ninja Dash: By Leaps and Bounds (Technique): Enters the Graffiti state for 20 seconds and while in this state, moves forward rapidly for a set distance and attacks any enemies touched. She blocks all incoming attacks and using an attack in the Graffiti state can end it pre-emptively. After entering combat, deals 30 Toughness Damage to enemies regardless of their Weakness Type and deals Break Damage equal to 200% of Rappa’s Imaginary Break Damage, and 180% of her Imaginary Break Damage to adjacent targets. Additionally, regenerates 10 Energy.

Rappa is a Break Damage focused AoE DPS. Her main damage output comes from her enhanced Basic Attack, which is triggered after using her Ultimate. She can constantly deal a high amount Toughness damage, regardless of enemy weakness, making her a very strong option against almost any enemy in the game. As Rappa scales off with Break Damage, her Single target damage being low as an Erudition doesn’t really matter that much, as her Break Damage potential is still massive.

Ascension Abilities:

  • Ninjutsu Inscription: Sky High (A2): When the Weakness of Elite enemy targets or greater is broken, Rappa additionally gains 1 Charge and regenerates 10 Energy.

The Eidolons of Rappa are quite strong, both increasing her and her allies’ abilities. Her E1 allows her to ignore Enemy Defenses by 15% when she is in Sealform state, giving a massive damage boost. Rappa’s E2 helps her weakness break enemies much quicker, which is already quick with her base kit. Her E4 increases the speed of all allies by 12% while Rappa is in Sealform state, which is a really good teamwide buff.
