Like it or not, GIFs are now an essential part of digital communication. You can now send GIF images on almost all the messaging platforms out there, that too with just a tap of a button. This is also why GIF-making platforms like GIPHY are on the rise, bringing new features to the table.
On the same lines, GIPHY has now added a new sticker making feature to its iOS app. I am not a huge fan of GIF images (and I’ll almost instantaneously block if you send me one), but I decided to give it a shot anyway. Here’s how it works:
As soon as you download/ update GIPHY from the App Store. You’ll be able to tap the “Plus” button to find a new “Sticker” option. Tapping that will let you record a short video. You make your desired GIF image and upload it to your GIPHY account. Having done that, you’ll now be able to send these GIF images via iMessage or any other messaging app and annoy your friends. I’ve attached a couple of screenshots to show how it’s done below.

GIPHY Keyboard Extension is Handy
In addition to the new sticker feature, GIPHY has also add an iOS keyboard extension. Once you’ve updated your app, you can enable this extension by going to Settings page on GIPHY’s app. Now, all you have to do is enable the extension and give it the necessary access. Once done, you’ll be able to use this particular extension to access GIPHY’s collection of GIFs and even stickers.
