Just a few months after the season finale of Young Sheldon, a favorite couple of the franchise, Georgie and Mandy are back with their spin-off series Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage. Most of the characters that appear in this series have previously been seen so, in this article, let’s find out about all the cast members and their characters who will be appearing in Georgieand Mandy’s First Marriage.
1. Montana Jordan as Georgie
Making his first appearance in Young Sheldon as Geroge Cooper Jr., he is the elder brother of Sheldon. He might not be as academically smart as Sheldon is but he has a sharp mind when it comes to marketing and sales. While in his teens, he starts dating Mandy, who is way older than he is and she gets pregnant. That is when they both get married.
In Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, the life of this couple is explored after their daughter is born. They are living with Mandy’s parents and as of now, the setting of the show is rather light-hearted and fun.
2. Emily Osment as Mandy
Emily Osment appears as Mandy for the first time in Young Sheldon. She starts dating Georgie unaware of his age and after she gets pregnant she eventually marries Georgie. Initially, Mady’s mom is not at all supportive of this relationship but she eventually comes around after Georgie and Mandy’s daughter is born. In Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, we see that the couple is living with Mandy’s parents while Georgie works at her father’s store.
3. Rachel Bay Jones as Audrey
Rachel Bay Jones takes up the role of Mandy’s mother and is rather a bitter character when it comes to Georgie. She constantly keeps implying that Mandy made the wrong choice when she married Gerogie and even makes fun of him. She is sometimes disrespectful to the couple in a very subtle and sarcastic manner. This trait of hers was seen in Young Sheldon as well, which is relatively toned down in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.
4. Will Sasso as Jim
Graduating from vines to acting, Will Sasso appears first in Young Sheldon as Mandy’s dad Jim. He is probably the only one who is happy instead of being mad when he finds out that his daughter is going to have a baby. Initially, he was a bit mad at Goergie for obvious reasons but eventually, Jim realized that he was a good kid. Contrary to what his wife thinks, he is always nice to Georgie and also gives him a job at his store. Even though Jim is terrified of his wife, he sometimes takes a stand for Georgie which is indeed sweet of him.
5. Raegan Revord as Missy
Raegan Revord was a child actress when she joined the cast of Young Sheldon and now she will appear in Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage. She takes up the role of Missy Cooper, who is the middle child of the Cooper family. She is witty and smart but also a huge rebel who keeps causing problems for the Coopers. Since Missy is still living with her family, she is going to appear in Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage but as of now, we don’t know when.
6. Annie Potts as Meemaw
Probably one of the most loved characters in Young Sheldon, Meemaw is Mary Cooper’s mother and the Grandma of Georgie, Missy, and Sheldon. She is one of the coolest characters in the show. Even though she is old, she ran an illegal gambling business and a laundromat at the same time with Georgie. While she is a little mean sometimes, she is the person anyone from the Copper family goes to for comfort. She did appear in the first episode of Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage where she and Mary visited Georgie and Mandy’s new rental home.
7. Zoe Perry as Mary
Zoe Perry takes up the role of Sheldon, Georgie, and Missy’s mom. She is a very religious woman who is often bothered by Sheldon’s atheism and constantly tries to make Sheldon a believer. When Gorgie and Mandy’s daughter was born, she was the most supportive. In Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage, she appears in the first episode along with Meemaw while visiting Georgie and Mandy’s new home.
8. Dougie Baldwin as Connor
Dougie Baldwin takes up the role of Connor, Mandy’s younger brother who is somewhat of a side character and does not appear a lot on screen. He prefers to stay in his room for most of the time and makes music which barely classifies as music sometimes. However, Conner has been recast for Georgie & Mandy’s First Wedding since in Young Sheldon the character was played by Joe Apollonio.
9. Jessie Prez as Ruben
A new addition to the cast we have seen so far is Jessie Prez who takes up the role of Ruben. He works in Jim’s store and is not very fond of Georgie. He thinks that even though he has been working in the store for 9 years, Gorigie was just given a higher post than him just because he is Jim’s Son-In-Law which makes him somewhat resent Georgie in a rather funny manner.
