Who is “The Tsaritsa” Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya in Genshin Impact?
The Tsaritsa, or Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya, is the Cryo Archon in Genshin Impact and the ruler of Snezhnaya. With the region sharing the name with her, we can even assume that she created and has been ruling the region from the very beginning. Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya has planned to get all the Gnoses in her hands to challenge Celestia. Well, at least we have assumed the last part, as her actual intentions are still unknown. But the new trailer gave us a few details. It showed a little kid, likely the 3rd Descender Saarlainen, who called her mother. Then, Anastasya mentioned how the Heavenly Principles took away everything from her, as the kid disappeared.
This hints at the fight between the 3rd Descender and Heavenly Principles that led to his death. Finally, we see the Tsaritsa fighting Ronova, one of the Four Shades.

There is no confirmed release date for “The Tsaritsa,” Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya, in Genshin Impact. However, we make some solid guesses based on past patterns in Genshin Impact. The archons are often released at version x.3 of every major arc. This means that “The Tsaritsa,” Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya, will most likely be released in Genshin Impact 7.3, which should happen sometime in December or early January of 2027.
Genshi Impact Tsaritsa Kit Leaks: Rarity, Element, and Weapon
This is still too early to have leaks about the Tsaritsa’s kit in Genshin Impact. However, the latest trailer does reveal a key point that we have mentioned below:
- Rarity: 5-Star
- Element: Cryo
- Weapon: Polearm
- Abilities: Will likely have something to do with Stellar Conduct, the new Genshin Impact Snezhnaya reaction.
When it comes to the Tsaritsa, we can confirm her to be a 5-star character. This is quite clear simply due to her importance in the game’s storyline, and also the fact that every other Archon has been a 5-star character so far.
Next, her element will also be Cryo, as she is the Cryo Archon. Having a different element will make zero sense for her lore. When it comes to her weapons, we did get a sneak peek of her holding a large staff or polearm in the trailer. This hints that Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya’s weapon of choice would be the Polearm.
Now, take the final detail with a grain of salt, as Hoyoverse is known for changing the weapon type of a character even if it showcased it differently at first. A clear example would be Raiden Shogun having a Polearm as a weapon instead of a Sword.
When it comes to her abilities, it is more than likely that it would have to do something with the new Stellar Conduct reaction, introduced with Sandrone’s kit.
