The Chimeric Winged Lion is located north of Sretomorozsk, past the Hunter’s Cabin, in an open field. Sretomorozsk city is the first major Snezhnaya city you will come across in Genshin Impact 7.0. Simply start heading North from it to reach the Chimeric Winged Lion boss in Genshin Impact. There will be a teleport point right outside the boss area, which will help you teleport to it faster.

How to Beat Chimeric Winged Lion in Genshin Impact

Similar to Immortal Construct, the Genshin Impact Chimeric Winged Lion boss is also particularly mobile, paired with very high-damage output attacks. Here is a quick guide on how to beat Chimeric Winged Lion:

1. Two Phases

Chimeric Winged Lion has two distinct phases. In the first phase, it will use Electro attacks. This phase will have electric homing missiles, an electric plunge attack, and an electric ground slam attack. Most of its attacks can be dodged by sprinting away. For its ground slam attack, you can jump during the AoE burst to avoid it.

In the second phase, the boss will shift to Anemo attacks instead. Here, it will shoot Anemo missiles and also do a breath attack of both Anemo and Electro at the same time. This attack will deal a ton of damage, so jump to avoid it.

2. Break Shield

To deal damage to the Chimeric Winged Lion and to send it to phase two, players will have to break its Electro shield. This can be done using elemental attacks. Once again, Stellar Glimmer reactions are more effective and can easily break its shield.

3. Stop it From Charging

In the second phase, the boss will suddenly start charging, drawing in little orbs around you. When this happens, you have to use Pyro/Hydro/Cryo/Electro to attack the Anemo orbs. Doing this will stop the charging process and prevent it from doing the breath attack.
