- Superman's Fortress of Solitude is located south of Canyon Crossing behind a mountain in Fortnite.
- Hope and Superman offer items and services, including the new Sentinel and Unstable Shotguns.
- The loot is mid-tier, so players can avoid hotdropping unless it is just for the Superman vibes.
With James Gunn’s Superman movie now playing in theatres, Epic Games has brought the Fortress of Solitude to Fortnite. The Man of Steel has officially moved out of Supernova Academy and set up base somewhere new. In this guide, learn where to find Superman’s Fortress of Solitude in Fortnite and explore what surprises it has to offer.
Superman’s Fortress of Solitude Location in Fortnite
The new Fortress of Solitude POI is located in the southern part of the Fortnite map. When you jump out of the Battle Bus, glide straight south.
After passing Canyon Crossing, you will spot a massive crystal tower behind the mountain; that’s the Fortress. Thankfully, unlike in the movie, you don’t need Superman’s DNA to get inside. The door’s already open, making it the perfect spot for a hot drop showdown.

What You Get in the Fortress of Solitude in Fortnite
As soon as you reach the Fortress of Solitude, you’ll find Hope and the Superman NPC waiting for you. Their roles haven’t changed much, but there are a few new surprises.
Hope now sells the exotic Sentinel Shotgun and unstable Frostfire Shotgun, which come with a pump mechanic, replacing the old Outlaw Shotgun. Moreover, she offers quests that can get you some solid XP for Chapter 6 Season 3 Super battle pass progression.
Meanwhile, Superman offers the Krypto Treat, Rift to Go, and Patch Up services. You can use the Krypto Treat to summon Krypto, or grab the Rift to Go if you want a quick launch back to the center of the map.
Should You Drop in the Fortress of Solitude?
Well, the answer is kind of mixed. If you’re a big Superman fan like me, this POI is definitely worth checking out. Epic nailed the design; both the inside and outside of the Fortress look just like James Gunn’s Superman movie. But when it comes to loot, it’s not worth hotdropping.
Sure, visiting Superman is cool, but the NPC services are pretty average. Hope’s exotic shotgun isn’t anything special. However, the Unstable Shotgun is a solid pick since it can freeze targets for a good amount of time, which is great for early-game fights.
I’d only suggest landing here when it’s away from the Battle Bus path to avoid chaos. That said, with how hyped this POI is right now, you’ll probably still run into some wild fights no matter what.
