Which is the Best Sprite in Fortnite Right Now?
The best Sprite in Fortnite right now is the Striker Sprite, with the Demon Sprite and Zero Point Sprite being close seconds. The Striker Sprite is great for mobility during a match, whether it be during a fight against an enemy or evading the storm. On the other hand, the Demon Sprite rewards aggressive play with its siphon mechanic, and the Zero Point Sprite can help you protect yourself while healing during a tense fight.
S-Tier Sprites in Fortnite
Striker Sprite

Buffs
- Base Striker Sprite: Gain the Overdrive effect when you Mantle, Hurdle, or Wall Scramble.
- Gold Striker Sprite: Base Striker Sprite Buff + 3x Bonus XP from eliminations.
- Gummy Striker Sprite: Base Striker Sprite Buff + Gain 20% more Sprite Dust upon Extraction.
- Galaxy Striker Sprite: Base Striker Sprite Buff + Gain 30% more Ammunition when looting.
The Striker Sprite is among the newly added Fortnite Sprites, and it is the best overall companion that players can have during a match. This is thanks to the Striker Sprite’s Overdrive buff, which activates every time you Mantle or Hurdle. Needless to say, this buff can come in handy during combat and overall movement too. If you’re running from the storm, you can simply build a wall in front of you and mantle it to get an immediate Overdrive buff, which recharges every time you mantle.
| Striker Sprite Level | Overdrive Buff Duration |
|---|---|
| Level 1 | 6 seconds |
| Level 2 | 7 seconds |
| Level 3 | 8 seconds |
| Level 4 | 9 seconds |
| Level 5 | 10 seconds |
Demon Sprite

- Gummy Demon Sprite: Base Demon Sprite Buff + Gain 20% more Sprite Dust upon Extraction.
- Galaxy Demon Sprite: Base Demon Sprite Buff + Gain 30% more Ammunition when looting.
The Demon Sprite is the undisputed king for Fortnite players who like to be aggressive during matches. This is because the Sprite becomes a Siphon effect, restoring health and shields every time you eliminate an enemy. With the Sprite granting you up to 30 health points if you manage to get it to level 5, the Demon Sprite should be a non-negotiable when it comes to the best Sprites in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3.
| Demon Sprite Level | Siphon Rate |
|---|---|
| Level 1 | 10 Effective HP |
| Level 2 | 15 Effective HP |
| Level 3 | 20 Effective HP |
| Level 4 | 25 Effective HP |

Zero Point Sprite

- Base Zero Point Sprite: Spawn a Shield Bubble Jr. when you use a healing item on yourself.
- Gold Zero Point Sprite: Base Zero Point Sprite Buff + 3x Bonus XP from eliminations.
- Gummy Zero Point Sprite: Base Zero Point Sprite Buff + Gain 20% more Sprite Dust upon Extraction.
- Galaxy Zero Point Sprite: Base Zero Point Sprite Buff + Gain 30% more Ammunition when looting.
The Zero Point Sprite is a defensive powerhouse for players in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3, especially in the Zero Build mode. Whenever you pop a mini, big shield, or medkit, the Zero Point Sprite spawns a Shield Bubble Jr. around you. This allows you to heal safely, even in wide-open fields or mid-build battle, without worrying about getting shot in the head. If you manage to get the Zero Point Sprite to Level 5, you can have an insane 10 seconds of free protection during battle.
| Zero Point Sprite Level | Shield Bubble Jr. Duration |
|---|---|
| Level 1 | 6 seconds |
| Level 2 | 7 seconds |
| Level 3 | 8 seconds |
| Level 4 | 9 seconds |
| Level 5 | 10 seconds |

- Gummy Ghost Sprite: Base Ghost Sprite Buff + Gain 20% more Sprite Dust upon Extraction.
- Galaxy Ghost Sprite: Base Ghost Sprite Buff + Gain 30% more Ammunition when looting.
The Ghost Sprite rewards players for employing smart reload habits in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3. Granting you a brief cloak of invisibility the moment you reload your weapon, this Sprite can help you break an enemy’s tracking mid-fight. This not only allows you to reposition but also to escape a tight box after being trapped, while the enemy keeps looking for you. With a total of 5 seconds of almost pure invisibility, the Ghost Sprite can help you get out of many sticky situations.
| Ghost Sprite Level | Cloak Duration |
|---|---|
| Level 1 | 3 seconds |
| Level 2 | 3.5 seconds |
| Level 3 | 4 seconds |
| Level 4 | 4.5 seconds |
| Level 5 | 5 seconds |
A-Tier Sprites in Fortnite
Earth Sprite

Buffs
- Base Earth Sprite: You have a chance to find additional rare items when opening chests.
- Gold Earth Sprite: Base Earth Sprite Buff + 3x Bonus XP from eliminations.
- Gummy Earth Sprite: Base Earth Sprite Buff + Gain 20% more Sprite Dust upon Extraction.
- Galaxy Earth Sprite: Base Earth Sprite Buff + Gain 30% more Ammunition when looting.
The Earth Sprite might look like it doesn’t belong in the A-tier in the Fortnite Sprites tier list. However, its role as the perfect early-game companion makes it extremely useful. The Earth Sprite significantly increases the spawn rate of Epic and Legendary loot pool items from standard chests. Having this little companion on your back at drop makes sure you head into the mid-game heavily geared. While it loses its value as you complete your loadout, you can always switch it out later for a different Sprite.
| Earth Sprite Level | Rare Item Chance Increase |
|---|---|
| Level 1 | 10% |
| Level 2 | 12.5% |
| Level 3 | 15% |
| Level 4 | 17.5% |
| Level 5 | 20% |
Fire Sprite

Buffs
- Base Fire Sprite: Creates a fiery burst when you deal enough damage to an enemy!
- Gold Fire Sprite: Base Fire Sprite Buff + 3x Bonus XP from eliminations.
- Gummy Fire Sprite: Base Fire Sprite Buff + Gain 20% more Sprite Dust upon Extraction.
- Galaxy Fire Sprite: Base Fire Sprite Buff + Gain 30% more Ammunition when looting.
The Fire Sprite can be an absolute nightmare for defensive Fortnite players. Its ability to set off a fiery blast around enemies after dealing sustained damage to them can be a great tool for crowd control. You can not only deal a big chunk of damage to enemies but also force them out of their wooden boxes by essentially setting their surroundings on fire. With a Level 5 Fire Sprite making it so you only need to deal 50 points of damage to trigger the blast, this can be a great companion to mow enemies down.
| Fire Sprite Level | Damage to Trigger |
|---|---|
| Level 1 | 150 |
| Level 2 | 125 |
| Level 3 | 100 |
| Level 4 | 75 |
| Level 5 | 50 |
The Burnt Peanut Sprite

Buffs
- Base Burnt Peanut Sprite: When eliminating players, you may find more loot. Sometimes mythic!
The Burnt Peanut Sprite, modeled around the controversial streamer, is an ultra-rare Mythic Sprite that grants a chance to get random, high-tier items whenever you secure an elimination in Fortnite. This makes it an incredibly fun and high-value Sprite for players to have by their side. Apart from having a 60% chance to spawn high-tier loot at Level 5, the Burnt Peanut Sprite also has a 10% chance of spawning a Mythic upon elimination.
| Burnt Peanut Sprite Level | Chance of Loot upon Elimination |
|---|---|
| Level 1 | 20% |
| Level 2 | 30% |
| Level 3 | 40% |
| Level 4 | 50% |
| Level 5 | 60% (10% Chance for Mythic) |
Fishy Sprite

Buffs
- Base Fishy Sprite: Swim speed is greatly increased. Taking damage also briefly increases movement speed.
- Gold Fishy Sprite: Base Fishy Sprite Buff + 3x Bonus XP from eliminations.
- Gummy Fishy Sprite: Base Fishy Sprite Buff + Gain 20% more Sprite Dust upon Extraction.
- Galaxy Fishy Sprite: Base Fishy Sprite Buff + Gain 30% more Ammunition when looting.
The Fishy Sprite, much like the Striker Sprite, is one of the best Sprites to have during a Fortnite match if you want to focus on mobility. This Sprite provides a boost to your swimming speed, something that can help you navigate the map with ease. Additionally, the Fishy Sprite also buffs your overall movement speed whenever you take damage. Given how common the Fishy Sprite is and how much speed it can give you at Level 5, it is an easy A-tier Sprite.
| Fishy Sprite Level | Swim Speed & Movement Speed Buff |
|---|---|
| Level 1 | 25% swim speed / 10% movement speed |
| Level 2 | 50% swim speed / 20% movement speed |
| Level 3 | 100% swim speed/ 30% movement speed |
| Level 4 | 150% swim speed / 40% movement speed |
| Level 5 | 200% swim speed / 50% movement speed |
Boss Sprite

Buffs
- Base Boss Sprite: Grants an increase to your max HP and Shield.
- Gold Boss Sprite: Base Boss Sprite Buff + 3x Bonus XP from eliminations.
- Gummy Boss Sprite: Base Boss Sprite Buff + Gain 20% more Sprite Dust upon Extraction.
- Galaxy Boss Sprite: Base Boss Sprite Buff + Gain 30% more Ammunition when looting.
As its name suggests, the Boss Sprite can buff your health and shield during a Fortnite match, just like one of the Fortnite bosses. This buff is pretty straightforward and exclusively focuses on survivability. The Boss Sprite is a guaranteed drop from any of the Fortnite bosses. That, mixed with the fact it can give you 25 extra health and shield at Level 5, makes it a solid A-tier Sprite in Fortnite.
| Boss Sprite Level | Health & Shield Increase |
|---|---|
| Level 1 | 5 HP & Shield |
| Level 2 | 10 HP & Shield |
| Level 3 | 15 HP & Shield |
| Level 4 | 20 HP & Shield |
| Level 5 | 25 HP & Shield |
B-Tier Sprites in Fortnite

The B-Tier Sprites in the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 Sprite tier list have fun gimmicks, but are highly situational and can often lead to you opening yourself up to danger. The Dream Sprite is fantastic if you want to build a loadout, as it explodes into a pile of legendary loot when you get it to Level 5. However, it offers no useful passive abilities for combat, and the unpredictability of items doesn’t really help.
The Duck Sprite might be the most fun Sprite to have by your side, as it allows you to regenerate health and shield by emoting or jamming out. This can be a huge advantage when you’re pinned down in later phases of the game. However, taking time out to simply emote in the middle of a tense battle can be a bit challenging, especially with all of the new additions to the Fortnite loot pool.
The King Sprite grants you a massive boost in pickaxe damage, allowing you to do 120 damage to enemies with each swing. However, let’s be honest, who actively uses their pickaxe during combat? It might be fun for a personal challenge for yourself, but it lacks any real utility, unless you want to take out enemies off spawn with a max-level King Sprite.
For its Mythic status, the Grim Sprite really fails to live up to its hype. The Grim Sprite can be quite helpful during battle, as it places a marker on your enemy as soon as they damage you. However, given that it’s a Mythic Sprite and is incredibly hard to find, its buff doesn’t feel worth the grind.
On the other hand, the Aura Sprite provides players with a Shock Rock charge upon dealing enough damage. While this can be great if you are looking to have consistent movement, it doesn’t feel worth it, especially with how many other mobility options are available in Chapter 7 Season 3.
C-Tier Sprites in Fortnite

The C-Tier Sprites in the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 tier list are just not worth carrying around unless you are trying to complete your collection. First off, the Water Sprite, which grants you shields for standing in water, is not really useful on most of the map. If the final circle ends in a spot that’s full of land, you’ll basically be carrying a useless Sprite on your back.
Finally, we have the Punk Sprite, easily the most enigmatic Sprite in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3. This unique Sprite does not do anything below Level 4, and even after it hits Level 5, it still has a chance of not doing anything. While it can grant you infinite ammo once in a while, it’s a buff that is not really worth going for by mastering the Sprite.
