Fortnite South Park Mini Pass: How to Complete Quests and Get Free Items

With the release of the 39.20 update in Fortnite, Epic Games has finally added the long-awaited South Park collab to the game. The collab brings new skins and items from the animated show, making their debut in Chapter 7. A highlight of this crossover is the brand-new Fortnite South Park Mini Pass, which allows players to grind for South Park-themed cosmetics.

Is Fortnite South Park Mini Pass Free?

Yes, players will be pleased to know that unlike the Battle Pass, the South Park Mini Pass, titled “Born in Chaos,” is completely free for everyone, requiring no purchase. This means players can unlock the cosmetics featured in the Mini Pass by completing South Park-themed quests during matches. Players can find the Mini Pass right next to the Play section in the top bar when they load up the game.

The Born in Chaos Mini Pass itself doesn’t cost anything. However, the South Park skins like Eric Cartman and Butters Stotch are featured separately in the Fortnite Item Shop.

All Fortnite South Park Mini Pass Rewards

The Born in Chaos Mini Pass features a total of 13 rewards that players can claim for free. To progress through the Pass, players need to collect CRED, a new currency, by completing South Park quests in Fortnite. Every 1000 CRED grants you one tier of rewards in the Mini Pass. Here are all of the cosmetics you can get through the Born in Chaos Mini Pass:

• Rest Well, Kenny Emoticon – Requires 1000 CRED
• Level Up Token – Requires 2000 CRED
• Banner Icon – Requires 3000 CRED
• Backpack of Cred Back Bling – Requires 4000 CRED
• Level Up Token – Requires 5000 CRED
• Awesom-O Attack Spray – Requires 6000 CRED
• Born in Chaos Loading Screen – Requires 7000 CRED
• Level Up Token – Requires 8000 CRED
• Towelie! Emoticon – Requires 9000 CRED
• Cheesy Poofs Rocketship Emote – Requires 10000 CRED
• Awesom-O Reveal Spray – Requires 11000 CRED
• Terrance and Phillip Pickaxe – Requires 12000 CRED
• Imaginationland Airship Glider – Collect 6 Memberberries

Players can unlock the final reward, the Imagination Airship Glider, by collecting 6 Memberberries. Memberberries are another new currency introduced with the 39.20 update. Players can acquire Memberberries by completing a set number of South Park quests.

Fortnite South Park Quests and How to Complete Them

The South Park quests in Fortnite are the only way you can earn CRED and Memberberries for the Born in Chaos Mini Pass. Each part of these quests will be released gradually as the collaboration continues. Here are all the South Park quests, rewards, and how to complete them:

Part 1 – Friendly Faces Everywhere (Released on Jan 9)

• Ride different rides or eliminate players at Cartmanland (5) – 400 CRED (Head to the Cartmanland POI and engage with all the rides or eliminate 5 enemies)
• Hit opponents with SMGs (100) – 400 CRED (Use an SMG like the new Flex SMG to hit enemies with 100 SMG bullets)
• Become a boss (1) – 400 CRED (Locate a boss at POIs like Ripped Tides and eliminate them to gain their medallion and become the boss)
• Use Flushers in different matches (3) – 400 CRED (Find Port-A-Potties in the Cartmanland POI and hide inside them)
• Damage opponents within 10 seconds of swimming (200) – 400 CRED (Locate an enemy near water and jump into the water before shooting at them)
• Complete 4 Friendly Faces quests – 1 Memberberry

Part 2 – Sweet! (Releases on Jan 14)

• After getting knocked, eliminate a player (1) – 400 CRED (Try timing and throwing a Grenade next to an enemy just before going down)
• Use the Stick of Truth (1) – 400 CRED (Claim the Stick of Truth during the Rift Anomaly at Cartmanland and use it to control the storm)
• Damage opponents at Carmine Lodge, Clawsy Lodge, or Tiptop Terrace (750) (Land at one of the 3 POIs and equip yourself well before rushing enemies to deal damage to them)
• Thank the Bus Driver (3) – 400 CRED (Press the emote button while on the Battle Bus)
• Emote on the stage at Cartmanland (1) – 400 CRED (Head to the Cartmanland POI’s stage and press the emote button or choose an emote by holding it down)
• Maintain a speed below 40 in a vehicle for 30 seconds (30) – 400 CRED (Find a vehicle and an unpopulated road and drive under 40 for 30 seconds in one go)
• Gain shields from Slurp Juice, Shield Potion, or Chug Jug (350) – 400 CRED (Open chests to find Slurp Juices, Shield Potions, and Chug Jugs, and consume them to gain shields)
• Complete 4 Kyle quests – 1 Memberberry

Part 3 (Releases on Jan 19)

• Search containers or destroy objects in Classified Canyon (25) – 400 CRED (Land at Classified Canyon and use your pickaxe to farm materials while destroying objects)
• Spray or emote within 10 meters of Cartman’s statue (1) – 400 CRED (Head to Cartmanland and find Cartman’s statue near the centre of the map and emote right next to it)
• Eliminate players with assault rifles (5) – 400 CRED (Use the Deadeye Assault Rifle to eliminate 5 enemies from a safe distance)
• Complete matches without using a zipline or ascender (2) – 400 CRED (Avoid using ziplines or ascenders for 2 matches)
• Restore health or gain shields (250) – 400 CRED (Use items like the new Cheesy Poofs to restore health and Small Shields for some quick shields)
• Damage bosses (500) – 400 CRED (Locate bosses at locations like Ripped Tides and Painted Palms and deal 500 damage to them)
• Complete 4 Cartman Quests – 1 Memberberry

Part 4 (Releases on Jan 24)

• Jump from Sunset Falls into the water below (1) – 400 CRED (Head to Sunset Falls near Cartmanland and dive down where the waterfall ends)
• Damage opponents with a hired specialist (200) – 400 CRED (Hire an NPC and have them deal 200 points of damage to your enemies)
• Eliminate an opponent while in water (1) – 400 CRED (Sneak up on an enemy through swimming and try to eliminate them before they realise)
• Eat or hit players with Cheesy Poofs (15) – 400 CRED (Open chests or find Cheesy Poofs in floor loot and consume 15 pieces or hit enemies with 15 pieces)
• Turn left in a vehicle (4) – 400 CRED (Find a vehicle and turn left 4 times)
• Destroy objects in Bumpy Bay or Artsy RVs (25) – 400 CRED (Head to either Bumpy Bay or the Artsy RVs and farm materials while destroying objects)
• Complete 4 Butters Quests – 1 Memberberry

Part 5 (Releases on Jan 29)

• Outlast players after taking storm damage (25) – 400 CRED (Allow the storm to hit you early in the game and survive until 25 players are eliminated in the match)
• Emote within 5 seconds of eliminating a player (1) – 400 CRED (Eliminate a player and quickly emote within 5 seconds while making sure you are safe)
• Search containers in Sandy Strip, Humble Hills, or Lethal Labs (15) – 400 CRED (Head to either of the three locations and search 15 loot chests, fruit containers, or ammo crates)
• Destroy objects with explosives (25) – 400 CRED (Throw grenades inside a house or building to destroy 25 objects)
• Eliminate opponents without a headshot (3) – 400 CRED (Aim for the body when fighting enemies)
• Reach top 20 without damaging anyone (1) – 400 CRED (Land at a lesser contested location and play passive to survive till the end game without engaging in a fight)

As of now, only the Rest Well, Kenny emoticon, and a Level Up token are available to be unlocked through the Pass. Epic Games will make the other tiers accessible as the collaboration goes on. Players can then claim the rest of the rewards over the month by earning CRED. However, players also have the option of spending 1,800 V-Bucks to clear out the Born in Chaos Mini Pass once all the tiers are unlocked.
