- Fortnite has announced a Daft Punk Experience Event.
- The event will go live on September 27, 2025, at 2 PM ET.
- There will be two playlists for the collab, where one will be a fan remix playground and another an interactive experience.
Fortnite’s live events have become iconic in the gaming world by bringing millions of gamers to its virtual metaverse, whether it’s to see Eminem battling against Mecha Team Leader while rapping to Houdini or Travis Scott taking over the island with his Astronomical aura in 2020.
Epic Games has mastered the art of live events, with each one generating hype on social media where fans decipher leaks and datamined clues for the next one. As the ongoing Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 reaches its mid-point, players have started to anticipate the next big crossover, which will bring new skins, emotes, and possibly a live event that leads to its Halloween update.
Over the past month, dataminers like HYPEX and ShiinaBR have teased the next big crossover with French Duo Daft Punk, who have previously been mentioned in surveys to appear in the game. While early rumors suggested they would headline a Fortnite Festival season, Epic has announced that it’s going to be an interactive event. Here’s when the Daft Punk crossover is hitting Fortnite and everything we know about it.
Fortnite Daft Punk Experience Live Event Start Time
According to the latest teasers, the Daft Punk Live Event will go live in Fortnite on September 27, 2025, at 2 PM ET, which is just weeks before Epic unleashes its Fortnitemares update in Chapter 6 Season 4. Throughout this season, there’s been a mysterious monolith standing tall on the island, which some players thought to be a replica of the real-life Washington Monument.
Well, as per the teasers, the monolith is in fact connected to the live event and specifically Daft Punk since it appears as a pink/purple monument in its ‘I Feel It Coming’ music video for a brief while. On the monolith, a date has started appearing, and it’s now confirmed to be September 27, when the duo will perform with The Weeknd.
The Daft Punk Experience Details and How to Join in Fortnite
As per Fortnite, the Daft Punk Experience is a fully interactive playground that includes multiple rooms with different ways to experience Daft Punk’s music, and it is not a concert or live event.
Players will soar through Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories to a transformative dance floor destination in the event, where the festivities kick off with a supercut from their legendary Alive tour and Alive 2007 album.

On this journey, players can blaze their own way in celebrating Daft Punk’s legacy. Remix Daft Punk’s music at Dream Chamber Studios, blast hordes of robots with a soundwave laser in the Robot Rock Arena, make a LEGO music video at Around the World, or hit the Daft Club to dance ‘til dawn.
Players will be able to create their own original remixes and mashups of Daft Punk’s songs in the experience. You’ll also find furniture from longtime Daft Punk collaborator Hervet Manufacturier throughout the experience. There’ll be an afterparty too, but Epic will reveal details on that at a later date.
The Daft Punk Experience will be in Discover starting September 27 at 1:30 PM ET. Get there before 2 PM ET on September 27 so you can dance it up at the grand opening at 2 PM ET! Some visuals and audio in the Daft Punk Experience are courtesy of NASA and The Recording Academy.
As per leaks, the following songs will be played during the concert: Get Lucky, One More Time, Around The World, Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger, and I Feel It Coming. The Daft Punk Experience will be available for a while even after the event date. Access it in Discover in the “By Epic” row or by searching for “Daft Punk Experience.”
What is Fortnite Instagram Secret Reel Password? Daft Punk Teasers Explained
Fortnite posted a cryptic teaser titled “The stage of an unforgettable era” on Instagram on September 22, which can only be unlocked using a key password. To those still looking for the answer, the code is PYRAMID in small case.
The teaser then reveals The Weeknd’s voice saying, “This Monolith, it’s a portal. A window into another time and place. The pyramid awaits.”, while showing a video of an animated pyramid, which will likely be the portal that opens at the bottom of the monolith and teleport players to the event stage.
Furthermore, The Weeknd posted an animated teaser on his story, featuring his Fortnite skin and Riftreaver Drift walking closer to the monolith and uncovering a glowing pink light coming from below the structure.
