The latest Lobster Trip update in Fisch has introduced a bunch of new game mechanics, including lobster cages and fishing nets. While standard cages and nets are available to buy, you will need to do certain tasks to grab Cursed cages and Bubba’s net. In a nod to The Forrest Gump’s Bubba, this NPC gives you the powerful Bubba’s Net if you feed him fish. The task is straightforward; however, let me explain how to find Bubba and get Bubba’s Net from him.
Steps to Get Bubba’s Net in Fisch
1. Find Bubba NPC
Bubba’s Net is one of the four Fisch fishing nets introduced in the latest major update. This shiny green net is not readily available to buy with E$, unlike the other three. To get this one, you need to visit the new Netter’s Haven island in Sea 2, located to the east of Waveborne.
On the island, head straight from the green cabin that houses the Utility Boat NPC. You will find the Bubba NPC standing in front of a small hut sporting a dad bod. The exact coordinates of the Bubba NPC are: X= -818, Y= 90, Z= 995.
Interact with Bubba to find out that he’s hungry and needs food. He requires you to get him a school of fish, for which he will reward you with something shiny in Fisch.
2. Get a School of Fish for Bubba
To catch a school of fishes, you must have a Utility Boat in Fisch and one of the many fishing nets. If you do, follow the steps below to catch a school of fish from a nearby area:
- Spawn your Utility boat and head out to one of the many fish school locations in Sea 2.
- For example, you will find the Veinfin Tetra School right in front of the Netter’s Haven.
- Sail the boat over the red square with the school name, and then go to the back of the boat.
- Press the ‘E‘ key to switch between cages and fishing nets. We need fishing nets for this task.
- Then, get into the driver’s seat and press the ‘X‘ key to deploy your fishing net.
- This will start a new mini-game, where you must target the moving cursor with the white circular bar.
- After a couple of successful tries, you will have caught the school of fish.
3. Get Bubba’s Net from the NPC
Once you’ve caught a few schools of fish, head back to Bubba on Netter’s Haven. Then, follow the steps below:
- Hold the net with the school of fish in your hand and interact with Bubba.
- Feed him your catch to get the shiny green Bubba’s Net as a reward.
- Do remember that you can feed him any school of fish and get the same reward each time.
Bubba’s Net Stats
Bubba’s Net is the best among all four fishing nets. The best thing is that it doesn’t cost you much because you can afford the Obsidian Net to get the schools of fish much efficiently. That said, here are the stats of the Bubba’s net:
- Luck: 200%
- Max Kg: 5000 kg
