We are all set to step into a new age of generational trauma with the release of Final Destination Bloodlines. This movie is the revival of a much-beloved franchise, and while it introduces a brand new set of actors, there is high anticipation of characters like Alex, played by Devon Sawa, and Kimberly Corman, played by AJ Cook, to return in Final Destination Bloodlines. Now the big question is if they will come back to the franchise, and I’m here with everything you should know about Final Destination Bloodline returning characters.
Which Characters Are Returning in Bloodlines From The OG Final Destination?

Even though a majority of the anticipation is regarding the return of Alex and Kimberly, the only confirmed character returning from the OG Final Destination franchise is William Bludworth, played by Tony Todd. He had appeared in multiple Final Destination movies and is now set to reprise his role in Bloodlines, set to release on May 16, 2025.
Unfortunately, Tony Todd won’t be here with us to witness the movie, as he passed away in December last year due to natural causes. Final Destination Bloodlines will be the role of Tony on the big screen.
Are Alex and Kimberly Returning in Final Destination Bloodlines?
Following the anticipation for their return, Devon Sawa recently had an interview with Forbes regarding his latest movie Heart Eyes, where he was also asked if his character, Alex, would return. To this, Devon Sawa himself confirmed that he will not return as Alex for Final Destination: Bloodlines while also appreciating the work done by the new cast of the movie. He commented-
“I’m not in it. Every movie has been a cast of new kids. Teo Briones, who played my son in the first season of Chucky, is in it, and so I’m rooting for him. I’ve seen every Final Destination movie in the theater. I can’t wait to see what the new cast does with it. Maybe one day in the future; who knows? I’m not in this one. I hear it’s really good, though.”
Talking about the possibility of AJ Cook’s returning as the character of Kimberly Corman, there is no concrete information if she will be a part of Final Destination Bloodlines or not. We have no confirmed reports either confirming or denying her involvement in the movie, but as far as we know, there is little chance of her appearing in the movie. Even if she does, it will most probably be just as a cameo. So, with that in mind, let’s wait for the release of Final Destination 6 on May 16, 2025.
