What Happened to Enid in Wednesday Season 2 Finale?

It was revealed earlier that Enid was an Alpha, and if she turns into a Werewolf on the upcoming full moon, she might never be able to turn back into a human. However, when Wednesday was buried alive by Slurp, or Issac and Agnus could not save her, she sought Enid’s help, and even after knowing what could happen to her, Enid went out to help without hesitation.
However, even with two people, it would take too long to dig up the grave to save Wednesday. To save Wednesday’s life, Enid turned into a Werewolf and dug her out just in time. However, after making sure that her friend is okay, Enid ran into the woods, and Agnes went after her but was unsuccessful in tracking the Werewolf down.
Is Enid Dead in Wednesday Season 2?
The answer is no, Enid did not die in Wednesday Season 2. But her fate might be even more painful than death. By becoming an Alpha permanently, she essentially lost her human side. She did not technically die, but lost her human side permanently.
For Wednesday, this was a devastating blow. Losing her best friend in such a twisted way, alive, but still as good as dead, and it hit harder than any death scene could.
