Squid Game Season 3 has finally arrived, and it is as heartbreaking as we expected it to be. The game that commenced in the second season has finally come to an end. Hundreds of players competed against each other to win the prize money, but, like in the first season, the third season also crowned a winner. That also means several of our beloved characters die, and fans wonder if Jun-hee’s baby also dies in the Squid Game Season 3. Well, here’s all you need to know about the baby’s fate in Season 3.
The Baby’s Fate in Squid Game Season 3 Explained

No, the baby did not die in Squid Game Season 3. Fortunately, she does make it out alive in the season finale. In the final game, or shall we say Sky Squid Game, players had to push at least one player off the platform in each round, and there were three rounds in total. There were nine players left at this point, including the baby. So, six out of nine players agreed to push Player 456, Player 222 (the baby), and, of course, Player 125.
The plan was solid, and of course, evil; however, what other players didn’t expect was Player 333 to be the child’s father. Ultimately, Player 333 shifts sides and fights alongside Player 456 to protect the baby.
After the bloody fight, there were four players left: Player 456, Player 333, Player 222, and Player 039, who was badly injured. Player 039 knew that the remaining players would target him in the next round. So, he jumps off the platform in the second round itself.
Now, in the third round, Myung-gi or Player 333 had no choice but to go against Player 456, but the fight broke out before anyone started the round. So, even though Myung-gi falls off the platform, neither Player 456 nor Player 222 wins the game. One of them had to die for the other one to win. So, as expected, Player 456 jumps off the platform, which ultimately makes the baby the winner of the Squid Game.
After Gi-Hun’s death, the Frontman takes the baby and leaves the scene. In the final moments, we see that the Front Man sent the baby to his brother, Jun-ho. Not only that, but the Front Man also sends the prize money to his brother. Maybe the Frontman wanted the baby to have a future with that kind of money, and if there was someone who could raise that child, it’s Jun-ho. So, yes, not only does the baby survive the entire ordeal, she also gets an adoptive father who now has enough money to give the child a better future.
