When Will ChatGPT Adult Mode Launch?
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman announced the Adult mode in October of last year. It was proposed to release sometime later, after age verification was rolled out globally for all users. Even though the mode itself isn’t out yet, we can expect that the feature will not be enabled by default. The users will need to undergo age verification, like on Discord, using a government ID, facial data, or phone number verification. Only then will they get the option to enable this feature.

- Log in to ChatGPT and click on your profile name in the bottom left corner.

That said, Character.ai has strict moderation filters and does not officially allow explicit adult chats. That said, there are ways to build a connection with your AI character, which could lead to more mature chats with them.
3. Replika AI
In my best AI chat apps list, I mentioned that Replika is the best AI for meaningful conversations. Here, you build your avatar from scratch and add character traits and aspects that you want in it. The AI carries out very natural conversations with you, forming an emotional bond of sorts.
