Best ABR A1 Loadout and Class Setup in Warzone

The AUG has returned to Warzone via the Black Ops 6 Season 5 update. Now named the ABR A1, the three-shot rifle ran rampant during the Black Ops Cold War days of Verdansk, emerging as the outright meta for a considerable period of time. Its latest iteration retains the weapon’s damage output and handling, making it a solid contender for the current Warzone meta. So, if you’re looking to get the most out of it, here’s the best ABR A1 loadout for Warzone with all the meta attachments.

  • Optic: Willis 3x
  • Muzzle: Compensator
  • Barrel: Gain-Twist Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
  • Magazine: Extended Mag II

Our ABR A1 Warzone loadout improves the AR’s ranged capabilities and improves its recoil to make the gun more accessible.

While it already comes with an integrated Optic, we found the Willis 3x to be a better sight in just about every department. But if you’re comfortable with the default scope, feel free to use this attachment slot for a Rear Grip instead. Next up is the Compensator, offering some much-needed recoil control. The attachment reduces the AUG’s vertical recoil significantly, adding a bit of stability to those three-round bursts.

The Gain-Twist Barrel is a must-equip, especially if you’re tuning the ABR A1 for mid to long-range combat. The attachment buffs the weapon’s bullet velocity and improves its damage output. It remains to be seen if the AR can live up to the one-burst standards set by its predecessor, but the Gain-Twist Barrel certainly helps in achieving that objective. city and enhances the amount of damage it can dish out in ranged combat scenarios. To offset the recoil gains from the barrel, the Vertical Foregrip is a great option, coupled with the Extended Mag II to increase its ammo capacity.

Best ABR A1 Class Setup in Warzone

Packing versatility, damage output, and accuracy in equal measure, the ABR A1 has all the traits to dominate Warzone lobbies. Since the weapon is adept at tackling ranged combat, its ideal secondary is a lethal SMG that can take care of close-range encounters. You’ll also need to pair that combination with the best Perks and Equipment to round out this meta class setup.

  • Muzzle: Compensator
  • Barrel: Long Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
  • Magazine: Extended Mag II
  • Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip

When it comes to raw damage output, few guns can match the Ladra. Its rapid-fire rate chews through enemies at close range, making it a force to be reckoned with. You’ll have to contend with a slight kick, but with a bit of practice, it’s certainly manageable.

Perks and Equipment

  • Perk 1: Scavenger
  • Perk 2: Tracker
  • Perk 3: Alertness
  • Wildcard: Overkill
  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Tactical: Smoke Grenade

Our Perk package is made up of meta options, starting with Scavenger, which will immediately top off your weapon with maximum reserve ammo while also granting the ability to resupply armor plates from eliminated enemies. Next up is Tracker – an evergreen perk that lets you spot enemy footsteps, giving you the choice between pursuing them or bunkering down on your position.

In the third slot, Alertness will notify you whenever an enemy aims at you. Naturally, this drastically improves your situational awareness. Needless to say, you’ll need to pick the Overkill Wildcard to equip two primary weapons. And finally, we’ve gone with the reliable Semtex and Smoke Grenade combination to round out our ABR A1 build.
