There is no shortage of weapons to pick from in Battlefield 6 RedSec, and you can even win matches by relying on the ground loot alone. Of course, some guns are better-suited for the Battle Royale’s ranged encounters than others, with Assault Rifles and LMGs quickly establishing their dominance over the game mode. So, if you’re looking for the meta guns, here are the best weapon loadouts for the Battlefield 6 Battle Royale.
Battlefield 6 Battle Royale Meta Weapons
A majority of your combat engagements in Battlefield 6 RedSec, especially in the mid-game, will be at ranges beyond the 30-meter mark. When combined with the slower TTK and noticeable aim de-sync issues, it’s best to prioritize stable weapons that are equipped with clean sights and have a sizable mag size. Of course, Shotguns and SMGs can still run rampant at close ranges. With all that said, here is the current Battlefield 6 Battle Royale meta.
1. KORD 6P67 – Stable AR for Ranged Encounters

- Scope: RO-M 1.75x
- Muzzle: Long Suppressor
- Barrel: 415mm Prototype
- Underbarrel: Classic Vertical
- Magazine: 36 RND
- Ammunition: FMJ (Standard)
The KORD 6P67 is arguably the most stable Assault Rifle in Battlefield RedSec, even without any tinkering in the attachments screen. It boasts a remarkably high rate of fire, and both these traits make it really easy to pepper enemies at medium ranges. Our recommended attachments minimize any remaining recoil and turn the weapon into a proper ranged laser.
That said, it’s still important to exercise a bit of trigger discipline while targeting opponents beyond 40 meters, so make sure to burst fire when possible.
2. AK-205 – Excellent Low Recoil Carbine

- Scope: RO-M 1.75x
- Muzzle: Long Suppressor
- Barrel: 314mm Factory
- Magazine: 40 RND
- Ammunition: Synthetic Tip
The AK-205 quickly emerged as a favorite on some of the larger Multiplayer maps due to its excellent recoil. The same principle applies to Fort Lydon, as the Carbine pairs well with the map’s urban sprawl. It’s pretty low on base damage, but the laser-like recoil more than makes up for it. The Carbine’s fire rate is also quite solid so it won’t be outgunned in most cases.
Our recommended attachments include the Long Suppressor, which increases stability while also hiding your location on the enemy’s minimap. For added headshot damage, we’ve also opted for the Synthetic Tip Ammunition.
3. PW5A3 – Balanced SMG for Mid-Range Engagements

- Optic: Iron Sights
- Right Accessory: 5 MW Green Laser
- Barrel: 254mm Custom
- Underbarrel: Folding Stubby
- Magazine: 30 RND Fast Mag
Just like the early Warzone days, the classic MP5 is a close-range beast in RedSec. The weapon offers exceptional stability, and you won’t have to contend with any recoil at medium ranges either. Within 15 meters, its TTK is quite incredible, meaning you’ll be chewing through armor plates and health bars at a rapid rate.
To get the best out of the SMG, make sure to pair it with the best attachments. Its meta loadout includes the 254mm Custom Barrel, which extends its range, along with the Folding Stubby, which bolsters its stability even further. Since the PW5A3 is suited for close ranges, we’ve gone with a fast mag, but feel free to switch to the 40 RND Extended option if you’d rather have the extra bullets.
4. L110 – Jack-of-All-Trades LMG

- Scope: 3VZR 1.75X
- Muzzle: Compensated Break
- Barrel: 465MM LB
- Underbarrel: Folding Stubby
- Magazine: 100RND Belt Pouch
- Ammunition: FMJ (Standard)
The Battlefield 6 Battle Royale is struggling with some aim de-sync issues at the moment, which can result in the TTK feeling inconsistent. An obvious solution for this problem, at least temporarily, is a hefty LMG that spits fire at a rapid rate while boasting an obscene magazine size – enter the L110. The starter LMG can more than hold its own when it comes to damage output, and it also stays pretty stable in ranged engagements. These qualities help make it a meta pick for RedSec.
5. PSR – Long-Range Sniper Tailored for Battle Royale

- Scope: SSDS 6.00x
- Barrel: 27” MK22
- Underbarrel: Full Angled
- Ergonomic: DLC Bolt
- Left Accessory: Rangefinder
- Magazine: 7 RND Magazine
- Ammunition: Match Grade
Largely overlooked in the Multiplayer, the PSR finally gets its moment to shine in the Battlefield 6 Battle Royale. With the Sniper being tuned for extreme distances, Fort Lydon’s layout perfectly plays to its strengths. There’s no better weapon to have if you’re targeting an enemy at distances above 100 meters, as the PSR can take down full-plated players with a single headshot.
Its meta loadout is made up of essential attachments such as the DLC Bolt and the handy Rangefinder, as well as Match Grade ammo to lower bullet drop across vast distances.
And that wraps up all the meta weapons in the Battlefield 6 Battle Royale. The best guns are bound to change with balancing updates, and we’ll be sure to update this guide accordingly. Until then, let us know your favorite weapons in the comments.
