Overview of the Best AI Glasses that Finally Make Smartphones Look Old

With the smartglass race heating up, we found a bunch of cheap eyewear that promised to offer AI efficiency but failed to deliver. That is why we put together a list of the most relevant and value-for-money AI glasses that you can pick in 2026.

1. Meta RayBan Display (with Neural Band)

The Meta RayBan display offers a mixed reality experience, with the already excellent AI and camera capabilities that Meta RayBans have become popular for. This is the company’s first eyewear that features a full color display for the right eye, which you can use for Google Maps navigation, checking notifications, browsing the web, surfing Instagram, WhatsApp, or Spotify. It also includes the Meta AI assistant and the rest of Meta’s staple features for its AI glasses.

They come with a Neural band to navigate through the contents of the screen, which is quite handy, and understands interactions seamlessly even when you put your hand behind your back. However, they do feel a bit heavier than the Meta RayBan Gen 2 and also don’t last as long on a single charge, which could bum out a lot of people. That said, if you are a content creator and need direct integration to Meta’s popular suite of services and features, then these are worth the price.

PROSCONS
Stylish and lightweight designDisplay resolution is a bit low at 600p
Colorful display, good screen brightnessMixed reality display only available for the right eye
Easy to control with the provided neural band Battery life lasts a couple of hours
Amazing video quality and stabilization with provided cameras
Completely independent AI glasses

Pricing: Starts at $799.00

2. Rokid Glasses

The Rokid Glasses are slightly new to the scene, but these are turning out to be better than the Meta RayBan Display in every way. It features a better build quality with a lighter frame and longer battery life, lasting up to 6 hours of music listening time. They also feature a display for both eyes and a high-quality one at that, which you can use for navigation, audio captions, translation, AI summaries, interaction with other apps, and more.

The highlight of Rokid is that these are true AI glasses, as it comes with Rokid AI built in, which you can use to give voice commands, scan and translate your POV, and help with all the other things. But you can also use ChatGPT 5. It also uses that display to show the replies from AI, which is quite convenient. Rokid Glasses also feature a 12MP camera that supports native landscape videos, recording up to 10 minutes at 30 FPS, and better low-light quality. All this, for $200 less than the RayBan Display.

PROSCONS
Lightweight and durable build quality Display is monochrome, not colored
AR display for both lenses Can only record landscape videos at 1680p
Multimodal AI assistant on boardDoes not support some social media apps
Native landscape videos and better low-light quality

Pricing: Starts at $599.00

3. INMO AIR3 AR Glasses

The INMO AIR3 is a full-fledged AR glasses, featuring a dual lens colored display that is 1080p in resolution, which is higher than the Meta RayBan Display that is only 600p. And these come with Android 14, so you can download your favorite apps from the Google Play Store, including AI apps like ChatGPT or Google Gemini, and use them as the default voice assistants. So you can have full-fledged AI models running on these lenses, making these a great pick for the best AI glasses. You can control everything on the screen with the included touchpad.

You can connect a controller, keyboard, and mouse to the INMO AIR3 for gaming, or work with multiple floating screens. This is what Apple’s Vision Pro strives to be. It also comes with a 2.5x bigger battery than what Meta offers. The camera is a 16MP shooter that can record in both vertical and landscape orientations with a 120 FOV. However, despite all these perks, the INMO AIR3 does cost a lot of money and is also quite bulky compared to other AI glasses on this list.

PROSCONS
Colored 1080p dual lens displays The glasses feel very bulky to put on for long usage
Comes with native Android with full app supportThe price is quite high compared to other AI glasses
Includes a large battery with 7 hours of usage time

Pricing: Starts at $1099.00

4. Meta RayBan (Gen 2) Wayfarer

The Meta RayBan (Gen2) might not be a new pair of glasses, but they still stand as the best AI glasses for their current price. And the only big thing you are missing out on is the display only. You can still record 3K videos with excellent stabilization that is great for content creators.

They also feature 5 microphones to take clear calls and record crisp audio, and users can use Meta AI anytime they need help with a query, want to translate something in their POV, or just for casual chit-chatting. If you are in the market for an entry-level pair of AI glasses, you should definitely pick these.

5. Oakley Meta Glasses

The Oakley Meta Glasses dropped in July 2025, and these are basically the same as the Meta RayBan (Gen 2), in terms of feature set. These also don’t have a display on the lenses; you can use the Meta AI assistant through voice commands, record vertical videos in 3K resolution, have a 5-mic setup for a clear, distortion-free calling experience, and are available for a good price.

The key difference between Oakley and RayBan comes down to the style. If you are not a fan of Meta RayBan’s look and need more styling options for your AI glasses, then the Oakley Meta is a good option to go for. Just like RayBan, these are available in a number of different colors and lens shades. However, they do cost $20 more than the Meta RayBan (Gen 2), but it’s still not a bad value for the price in my opinion.

PROSCONS
Features Meta AI voice assistant Does not have a display for AR experience
Available in multiple colors, and lens optionsRestrictive video recording limit
Different look than the Meta RayBans
Can also record 3K vertical videos

Pricing: Starts at $399.00

Special Mention: Samsung + Google XR Glasses

Samsung and Google have been secretly working on their own XR Glasses. They will run on theAndroid XR platform and feature Google Gemini as the AI assistant on board for maps navigation, hands-free assistance, and live translations. In a recent event, Google gave us a glimpse of what we can expect from the XR glasses.

They will feature a colored display on one lens, similar to the Meta RayBan Display, and come with microphones and a camera for recording videos. They are collaborating with the South Korean luxury sunglasses brand Gentle Monster for their first AI glasses. We don’t have an exact release date for these, but we are definitely worth looking out for.

So these are the best AI glasses that you can pick up from the store shelves in 2026. While these are some of the early picks, there will be other interesting options like the XR glasses. It is also rumored that Apple might want to jump into the AR glasses scene, so it will be interesting to see unfold. However, if we missed your favorite AI glasses, please let us know in the comments below.
