How to Defeat Rogue Mega Evolutions in Pokemon Legends ZA
Defeating a Rogue Mega Evolution can be tricky, and you might end up blacking out multiple times. We have listed some tips below that can help you defeat these bosses effortlessly. After you have defeated a Rogue Mega Evolution will reward you with a Mega Stone for that particular Pokemon.
1. Bring Pokemon with Type Advantages

Each Pokemon has a set of Weaknesses and Resistances. For any battle, it is a rule of thumb to use a Pokemon with type advantages, so that you can have the upper hand. Similarly, you can follow our table to note the weaknesses of each Rogue Mega Evolution, and select your team of six accordingly. Make sure that you bring at least four Pokemon that match the weaknesses of the Rogue Mega Evolution.
2. Bring Pokemon That Can Mega Evolve

Mega Evolved Pokemon are much stronger than their normal form, and we all know that. However, there are several reasons to bring a Mega in a Rogue Battle.
Firstly, you can collect Mega Orbs during a battle, and Mega Evolve your Pokemon, resulting in a higher stat formation and more damage. Secondly, Mega Pokemon can use Plus Moves more effectively, as the cost is reduced slightly. This will allow your Mega to stay longer in a battle, because the gauze is not depleting, as it does when a normal Pokemon uses Plus Move.
3. Notice Attack Patterns And Dodge Them

Each Rogue Mega Evolution has a different attack pattern. Some like to jump towards you and deal melee damage, while others deal AoE or long-range attacks. They do target your Pokemon, but some of them will be chasing you most of the time. If you are not paying attention, then you’d take a hit.
In Pokemon Legends ZA, you are allowed to take a maximum of three hits until your screen border turns red. After that, you’ll black out. On a good note, you can always continue the battle from where you left off, after you blacked out.
4. Collect Mega Orbs

As we discussed previously, Mega Pokemon are very important in a Rogue Mega Evolution Battle, and the key to victory is the efficient use of Mega Orb, which fuels the Mega Gauge. You can collect Mega Orbs and use them to fill the Mega Gauze, allowing your Pokemon to Mega Evolve and use Plus Moves.
