How Many New Sprites Are in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4?

Epic has introduced 27 new Sprites to Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Override. This new generation of Sprites is now available to claim, and they bring new abilities to the island for players to experience. They are very different from Sprites you collected earlier in the previous Chapter 7 Season 3.

More Sprites are to be added later this season, some of which are Fortnite Design-a-Sprite contest winners. In the meantime, you can also get some rare Sprites from Fortnite Lobby Hack Codes, so do check them out as well.

How to Get Sprites in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4

There are a few ways to get Sprites in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4. However, don’t expect to find them in Sprite Chests like last season. This mechanic has been vaulted and replaced with Fortnite Lobby Hack Codes and Cheat Codes. Here is what you need to know.

  • Fortnite Lobby Hack Codes: With the Fortnite downtime now ended, you can activate Lobby Hack Codes in-game. Some of them grant you XP and Sprite Dust, while others give you new Sprites and even their variants. There are multiple codes currently available, and more could be added throughout the season.
  • Cheat Codes: Keeping to the Gaming Legends theme, Fortnite has introduced another new mechanic called Cheat Codes. These are hidden and can be found across the island within POIs. They are highlighted walls, and you can interact with them to enter the Cheat Code to get a free Sprite ally. If you’re unsure about where to go first, have a look at our guide that outlines the map changes for Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4.
  • Pumpkin Chests: As of the Fortnite update 42.30, you can get Sprites by ‘smashing’ open pumpkins found on the island.
  • Chests: As of August 22, 2026, Fortnite has made Sprites (base variants only) obtainable from chests. This could be subject to change based on further feedback from the community. You can also open chests to find Sprites and complete Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 quests.

Aside from the aforementioned methods, you can also acquire Sprites in Fortnite by eliminating players who have them and claiming them for your own. Remember to make use of the new items/weapons added in the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 loot pool to have the best odds of succeeding.
