007 First Light includes some thrilling missions, each having multiple paths for our agents. A Night Out is one such mission where players can get the job done in multiple ways. How to Complete 007 First Light A Night Out Mission
Part 1: Find Contact in Red by Bar
Once the mission starts, you will be asked to find the ‘contact in Red’ at the bar. The bar is located opposite the DJ, so continue until you reach it. There you will find a red-dressed woman. Although she is not your contact, you have to speak with her first to progress the mission, so go ahead and show off some of that charm as Bond. Once you have spoken with the woman, her boyfriend will interject and take her away. This interaction will bring all sorts of problems later.
Next, look to the left, and you should find a man wearing a red T-shirt. This is your main contact, so speak with him to get your next task.
Part 2: Locate Pickup
Go to the room on the right side of the bar’s entrance and take another right. Continue onwards until you find the bathroom. Inside, open the door of the third toilet and next open the canister on the wall to find the ‘pickup’ inside. This will give you the main objective of the mission. After you get it, exit the toilet, and you will be confronted by the woman’s boyfriend from the encounter earlier.
Defeat him in close combat and leave the bathroom. Prioritize parrying to avoid getting hit and chain your combos to gain Instinct. This will come in handy later to bluff your way through. Check out our guide on how to parry in 007 First Light to learn better.
Part 3: Get Upstairs
Now, you will be tasked to get upstairs. To do it, you will have two different options. There are four ways to go upstairs:
- Above and Beyond
- Staff Only
- The Stamp
- Brute Force (not a hint)
The first three hints mentioned above are part of the game mechanics that you have to progress through to complete. The fourth method is simply using your gadgets to get past the guards with brute force and is the fastest option I found. So, here are all the ways you can get upstairs:
Above and Beyond
Head to the DJ entrance, and there you will be able to eavesdrop on a conversation. The conversation will reveal that someone climbed up the lights from behind the DJ to reach the balcony. Now, head to the DJ and go to the backstage area. Use the right side’s path as it will be unprotected.
Squeeze through the small space to reach the backstage. Climb up the boxes to reach the top lights. Now make your way to the other end and jump to the Balcony.
Staff Only
This method will require you to take the doorway behind the bar to enter the staff-only corridor. Use your Dart gadget to disorient the Bartender near the door. Go past her and enter the staff-only restricted area. Inside, you will find another NPC, so make sure to sneak past him. Continue up the stairs to reach the target area.
The Stamp
Another way to reach upstairs is to get the Stamp, which will give you full access to upstairs. There are two ways to get the stamp.
- Eavesdrop on the conversation in the right-side room of the bar to learn about the name ‘Jones’. Go to the Stamp counter, opposite the bathroom, and tell the male NPC that you are Jones to get the stamp.
- Sneak in the door behind the Stamp counter and steal the Stamp.
Both ways work, but the first way is safer. Once you have obtained the stamp, simply go past the guards to reach upstairs.
Brute Force (not a hint)
This is a very simple method. All you have to do is poison both the guards blocking your way upstairs. But you will need enough chemicals to do it. Thankfully, you can pick up Chemicals in the right-side room from the bar, where you can also eavesdrop on the ‘Jones’ conversation. Target the first guard with your dart and come back to pick up the chemical, and then target the second guard. Simply walk past them to reach upstairs.
Part 4: Investigate Joshua Pike
Once you are upstairs, look for Joshua Pike using your Q-Lens. Get close to him and use Q-Watch to hack his phone. Now, you will have to closely follow Joshua Pike to progress your hacking. While following, the red-dressed woman will come speak with you again. Use the ‘Play Along’ prompt to quickly diffuse the situation and continue following Joshua Pike.
Once you get rid of the red-dressed woman, you will find Joshua in a restricted area. Use the Dart to poison the guard. Go past him and continue inside to complete hacking the phone.
Part 5: Get Rid of Pike
After you have hacked Joshua’s phone, head back to the balcony and speak with Cressida. Now, head to the stairs and go into the Staff Only room. Enter the next room to find a place for Joshua. Now, return to Joshua on the dance floor on the balcony and talk with him. Lead him to the isolated room and then jam the door. Head back to the stairs and speak with Cressida again.
Part 6: Confront Pike’s Contact
Now, head to the Stamp Counter’s backroom and look for Pike’s contact. Speak with her, and the red-dressed women will crash the conversation again. Here is the exact dialogue flow I followed to get through this situation:
- The price is up
- Reason
- Talk to the woman in red
- Talk to contact
- Talk to the woman in red
- Convince
After you follow this conversation chain, the contact will call her handler, and your mission will progress to the final stage.
Part 7: Get to Extraction Point
Finally, head towards the exit, only to find the red-dressed woman’s boyfriend stopping you again, alongside a couple of goons. Thankfully, Monroe joins the fight, and together you have to defeat all of the goons to exit the club and complete the mission.
