Jujutsu Kaisen: Remi Character Explained

When Megumi walks into Tokyo No. 1 Colony, he is ambushed by Remi. However, Megumi overpowers her without breaking a sweat, and that’s when we see the girl switching sides. To be precise, the attacker suddenly shows interest in becoming an ally, which makes it obvious she is hiding something. Remi is not physically strong or someone who can give their opponent a hard time with their combat skills, but she is definitely someone who can make anyone lower their guard with her manipulative nature. She does exactly the same with Megumi. Even though he doesn’t fully trust her, he still follows Remi in his desperation to find Higuruma.
Remi is a young, beautiful woman with long black hair who is very familiar with her strengths and weaknesses. She knows that she can’t survive in the deadly game if she tries to do it alone, so she attaches herself to powerful men like Reggie Star, whom she believes can help her. That’s why she acts to cooperate with Megumi and help her find the sorcerer she is looking for. However, her true intentions come to light soon when she leads Megumi to Reggie Star and his group, who attack him.
Remi believes that Reggie is truly at her side, but when a situation shows up where she needs protection, Megumi helps her instead of the person she puts her faith in.
Apart from all this, let’s just say that Remi isn’t a strong character in JJK per se. In fact, her cursed technique, Scorpion Hair, isn’t good enough to kill anyone. At most, it can irritate enemies, but in no way is it capable of killing strong opponents. That being said, Remi does play somewhat of a crucial role in JJK, at least for a little while. She does leave a lasting impression, not because of her abilities, but because of her personality.
