The game is expected to go into an extended downtime right after the Fortnite Shattered live event, allowing Epic Games to add content to the game for the new season launch. The new season will deal with the aftermath of the final showdown between the Ice King and the Foundation.

The release of this season will bring changes like a new Battle Pass, weapons, and map changes. Additionally, players will see the return of Sprites and Doctor Slone in the upcoming season.
