- The Grim Reaper Sprite is the rarest Sprite in Fortnite.
- The Zero Point Sprite is the second rarest Sprite in Fortnite.
- Epic has also added Special variants of Sprites in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3.
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 has been a blast so far, introducing players to a plethora of new Sprites to play around with. However, within all this mayhem, players have been wondering the same question: what is the rarest Sprite in Fortnite? Well, we have the answer for you right here.
What are the Rarest Sprites in Fortnite?
The crown for the rarest Sprite in Fortnite undoubtedly goes to the Grim Reaper Sprite, which has a mere chance of spawning only 0.0000004% of the time. This Mythic companion was added as part of the Gone Wild event in the Fortnite 41.10 update, and it places a marker on an enemy as soon as they deal damage to you. This allows you to track your enemies during tense fights, which can further help you in your positioning during combat.
Since the Grim Reaper Sprite provides players with one of the most powerful abilities during combat, Epic has deliberately designed it to be extremely hard to find. So far, not many players have found a Grim Sprite, with some even resorting to online Sprite trading to get their shot at the elusive Sprite.
The Zero Point Sprite is a close second to the Grim Reaper Sprite when talking about the rarest Sprites in Fortnite. Much like the Grim Reaper Sprite, many players online are still clamouring to find a Zero Point Sprite to extract and add to their collection. This Sprite provides players with the protection of a Shield Bubble Jr. every time they use a healing item. However, not many have been lucky in their search, engaging in in-game trades with other players.
Special Sprite Variants in Fortnite
As if finding Mythic and Legendary Sprites wasn’t hard enough, Epic has added another layer of complexity with Special variants of Sprites. These Special Variants give players secondary bonus effects like increased bonus elimination XP and a 10% boost to extracted Sprite Dust. According to the game files, Sprites are programmed with the following styles:
- Gummy Sprites
- Galaxy Sprites
- Gold Sprites
- Gem Sprites
- Holofoil Sprites
- Cube Sprites
- Quack Sprites
Currently, only Standard, Gold, Gummy, and Galaxy Sprite variants are active or reliably spawning on the Chapter 7 Season 3 map.
