Best Warzone Kar98k Build in Season 3 Reloaded

The classic Kar98k is one of the most iconic weapons in Call of Duty history, and it ranks high among the best long-range weapons in Warzone. Despite joining the BR title nearly a year ago as part of the MW3 Season 4 update, the bolt-action rifle can still hang with the best weapons Black Ops 6 has to offer. But to unlock its real potential, you’ll need to pair it with some essential Attachments. On that note, here is the best Warzone Kar98k build in Season 3 Reloaded.

Best Kar98k Loadout in Warzone

  • Optic: Range Caller v3.4 Optic
  • Muzzle: Sonic Suppressor L
  • Barrel: Prazisionsgewehr 762 Long Barrel
  • Rear Grip: Recon Sling
  • Ammunition: 7.92 High Grain Rounds

The base Kar98k in Warzone comes without an optic and lacks the bullet velocity needed for Verdansk’s long-range engagements. Our Kar98k loadout addresses both these issues while boosting its damage range and sharpening its one-shot capabilities.

To kick things off, equip the Range Caller v3.4 Optic, which provides solid magnification and ensures that the Marksman Rifle’s signature ADS times remain swift. Up next is the Sonic Suppressor L, which minimizes muzzle flash and offers slight improvements to the bullet velocity and recoil.

The most important Attachments for this build are the Prazisionsgewehr 762 Long Barrel and  7.92 High Grain Rounds, both of which improve the damage range, allowing for one-shot kills up to distances of 70 meters. Lastly, the Recon Sling polishes the weapon’s precision, giving you a better chance at landing those long-range shots.

Best Kar98k Class Setup in Warzone

The Kar98k is all about pace and precision. It can dish out a ton of damage while also being incredibly mobile. However, its bolt-action fire rate means that you’ll have to contend with a slight delay between shots. To work around this drawback, it’s best to pair the Markman Rifle with a balanced AR that you can quickly switch to for close and medium-range combat scenarios.

Secondary Weapon

  • Optic: Willix 3x
  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
  • Magazine: Extended Mag II

The Kilo 141 gets our nod for the secondary weapon. The AR offers balance across all fronts and is incredibly easy to use. Its low recoil and excellent stability offer laser-like precision, which is especially handy for taking down enemies at range. The Kilo’s damage output is also respectable, so close-quarters engagements won’t be much of a hassle. But if you want to prioritize close-range gunfights, then the Swat 5.56 with the Grau Conversion mod could be a better pick due to its superior firepower.

Perks & Equipment

  • Perk 1: Veteran
  • Perk 2: Cold-Blooded
  • Perk 3: Birdseye
  • Wildcard: Overkill
  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Tactical: Smoke Grenade

As for the Perks, Veteran goes in the first slot since it reduces the effect of enemy equipment, making it trickier for them to flush you out of Sniper nests. Our recommendation for the second Perk is Cold-Blooded, as it renders you immune to AI targeting systems and thermal optics. Lastly, Birdseye can be a boon for aggressive snipers since it increases the duration of your UAVs while also displaying the locations of Ghosted enemies.

Equipment can boil down to personal preference, but most players will find the Semtex and Smoke Grenades duo to be a reliable combination.

That wraps our guide on the best Kar98k loadout for Warzone. Will you be using the bolt-action rifle in the BR or Resurgence? Let us know in the comments.
