Eric has shared an X (formerly Twitter) post letting everyone know that it’s the 8th anniversary of Stardew Valley. Also, in the post, he revealed a release date for Stardew Valley 1.6 update, which is March 19!
This update will be initially launched for PC users, but console and mobile users can expect to play around with the new features shortly after.
At first, the 1.6 update seemed to be a smaller update focused on quality-of-life features for the mod makers. But with time, with each new announcement, the 1.6 update started expanding. Today, it’s a rather massive update that will affect the gameplay significantly. Here’s a list of the Stardew Valley 1.6 update features:
