Gi-Hun’s plan to end Squid Games remains unachieved and the ending of Season 3 also brings an exciting surprise for the fans of the TV show. What Happens at the End of Squid Game Season 3?

By the end of Squid Game Season 3, a lot had happened, and it would take a while to explain everything that went down. So I would recommend that you sit down if you’re reading this while standing. At the end of Squid Game Season 3, we see that Gi-hun dies to protect the baby. On top of that, we also got to see that Jun-ho finally managed to find the Squid Game island, but he was detected by the Frontman, who initiated a self-destruct sequence that took down the entire Squid Game setup.

Following this, we also got to see that In-ho developed a sense of respect towards what Gi-hun pulled off by sacrificing himself to save the newborn baby. In-ho delivered the baby and her prize money to Jun-ho as a gesture of goodwill.

Along with that, he stole all of Gi-hun’s remaining cash and deposited it into a bank account and then delivered it to his daughter in Los Angeles, USA. However, just when you think that things are done and dusted, a new reveal came our way that no one would have expected to see this season, setting up something that was just talk for now.

Squid Game Season 3 Ending Cameo and Spin-Off Set Up

After In-ho delivered the money to Gi-hun’s daughter in Los Angeles, USA, we see him stopping at a red light, and he hears slamming sounds. He rolled down his window, and there was a female recruiter played by Cate Blanchett playing ddakji with a guy in an alley just before the credits rolled for Squid Game Season 3. This little detail at the end points towards the fact that the American spinoff of Squid Game is closer than we think it is to be.

As far as we know, it will be directed by none other than David Fincher, the man behind the brilliant execution of movies such as Fight Club,  Se7en, Mindhunter, and The Social Network. So, with that being said, that’s what happens in the ending of Squid Game Season 3.
