How is Sparxie Related to Sparkle?
The relation between Sparxie and Sparkle is a bit complicated to understand. Sparxie is a virtual streamer in Planarcadia and one of the supplicants of the Phanstasmoon games. She looks the same as Sparkle, while also sharing her voice actor. According to the Honkai Star Rail 4.0 missions, Sparkle reveals that Sparxie is an Imaginae that came into existence after Sparkle stopped playing her character for livestreaming. However, later down the line, Sparxie reveals that she is the real one, and the Sparkle we know was the mask that she abandoned.
Even though Sparkle had suffered through an identity crisis throughout the 4.0 trailblazing mission, she takes this information extraordinarily well. Sparkle even challenges Sparxie that the last person standing would be the real one between them. In their fight, Sparxie had a clear edge and won, which might mean that Sparkle may have come out of Sparxie. However, that doesn’t mean that Sparxie is the real Sparkle.

Who is the Real Sparkle in Honkai Star Rail?
At the very end of the Honkai Star Rail 4.0 trailblazing mission, both Sparkle and Sparxie accept each other and join. So, which one of them was the real one? In my opinion, neither of them is the original Sparkle. Instead, both are likely different personas of the real Sparkle. During the Honkai Star Rail and Honkai Impact 3rd collab, it was revealed that countless Sparkles can be found around the universe.
That means all the Sparkles are coming from one source, someone who is incredibly powerful. Sparkle also shares her theory later, hinting that both of them can be fake. This is something both of them agree on, which is why they join hands and decide to do mischief together.
I also believe that both Sparkle and Sparxie are fake, and the original Sparkle is either an Emanator of Elation or Aha themselves. This can be the only way so many versions of Sparkle can exist simultaneously, while being fully conscious. Hopefully, this original Sparkle will make an appearance soon and may even become playable in the future.
