Laptop makers have finally released AI-powered Windows 11 laptops called Copilot+ PCs with the promising Qualcomm Snapdragon X series chips. The ARM-based Oryon CPU is highly performant, rivaling the Apple M3 in performance and efficiency. On top of that, all of the Copilot+ PCs feature an integrated Hexagon NPU that can perform up to 45 TOPS. On that note, here is the updated list of the best Snapdragon X Elite and X Plus laptops available for consumers in 2025.
1. Surface Laptop 7th Edition and Surface Pro 11th Edition
Microsoft has launched two Snapdragon Copilot+ PCs, including the Surface Laptop 7th Edition and Surface Pro 11th Edition for consumers, both powered by the Snapdragon X Elite and X Plus chips. Both base variants are using the X1P-64-100 (10-core Oryon CPU) SKU, the 5th chip in the lineup. This variant offers a single-core frequency of up to 3.4GHz.
The new Surface Pro also features a 120Hz OLED display, but only on the X Elite variant. Both Surface devices have received a design overhaul, having thin bezels, a rounded display, and an improved haptic trackpad.
2. Asus Vivobook S 15
Asus is offering the most value-for-money Snapdragon X Plus laptop right now. The Asus Vivobook S 15 features the X1P-42-100 SKU which offers a maximum single-core frequency of up to 3.4GHz. It also brings a 3K OLED display. Currently, it’s retailing for just $549, which is highly recommended since you get a decent Snapdragon X Plus processor with 8 Oryon CPU cores.
3. Dell XPS 13
Dell has announced its XPS 13 laptop with the second-most powerful variant (X1E-80-100) of the Snapdragon X Elite lineup. On the XPS 13, you get a beautiful OLED touchscreen InfinityEdge display. The display is also protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and the laptop is crafted with machined aluminum for a premium feel.
4. Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x
Lenovo has added five Snapdragon-edition laptops, but the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x is the best Snapdragon X Elite laptop right now. It’s because the laptop brings the Snapdragon X Elite chipset (X1E-78-100) — the third chipset in the lineup. It comes with 12 Oryon CPU cores, but you don’t get a dual-core boost on any cores.
5. Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge
Samsung has released the Galaxy Book4 Edge with the most powerful variant of the Snapdragon X Elite chipset. It packs the top-of-the-line X1E-84-100 processor, which is said to consume around 80W. You get a dual-core boost up to 4.2GHz on the top-end variant. However, the base variant which starts at $799 offers the X1P-42-100 SKU with 8 Oryon CPU cores. Besides that, it packs 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of eUFS storage.
6. HP OmniBook X 14
HP has also developed the next-gen Copilot+ PC, powered by Qualcomm’s PC chipset. The base HP OmniBook X 14 laptop features the Snapdragon X Plus processor (X1P-42-100). The laptop is lightweight and thin, as expected from an ultrabook. HP says its Copilot+ PC offera a battery life of up to 26 hours.
7. Acer Swift 14 AI
Acer has released its first Snapdragon X Elite laptop in the Swift lineup. The Acer Swift 14 AI laptop comes in different models packing the third-variant (X1E-78-100) of the Snapdragon X Elite chipset and Snapdragon X Plus (X1P-64-100). This Snapdragon X Elite SKU offers no dual-core boost but brings 12 CPU cores, clocked up to 3.4GHz. And the X Plus packs 10 CPU cores, clocked at 3.4GHz.
8. Honor MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon
Honor, which was earlier a sub-brand of Huawei, but now has an independent operation, released the MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon laptop with the X Elite (X1E-80-100) processor. It’s not available in the US, but EU users can buy it for €1,699. The laptop comes with a beautiful OLED screen and 32GB of onboard memory.
