Sekiro: No Defeat anime will be a faithful adaptation of the Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice video game. Thus, the core plot of the Sekiro anime will be the same as its source material. The Sekiro story is set in the late 1500s Sengoku period of Japan, and the official synopsis of Sekiro anime as follows:

Follows the lifestory of ‘one-armed wolf’, a disgraced and disfigured warrior rescued from the brink of death. Bound to protect a young lord (Kuro) who is the descendant of an ancient bloodline, they become the target of many vicious enemies, including the dangerous Ashina clan. When the young lord is captured, nothing will stop Wolf on a perilous quest to regain his honor, not even death itself.

In addition, the anime staff will likely expand on the game’s storyline and characters further. Hopefully, we also look forward to seeing fresh plot developments that weren’t explored in the 2019 video game.

The complete voice actor cast of Sekiro anime hasn’t been disclosed yet. However, the three main voice actors from the original video game will be reprising their roles in the anime, and they are as follows:
