How to Catch Mega Tyranitar in Pokemon GO

If you’re lucky enough to encounter it during Partly Cloudy or Foggy weather, the CP range increases to 3,689-3,820. Othwise, you can farm Larvitar candies during specific Pokemon GO events, and evolve one with good stats into a Tyranitar.

To Mega Evolve your Tyranitar, you’ll need 300 Mega Energy for the initial evolution. You can earn 200-300 Mega Energy by completing individual Mega Tyranitar raids.
