Carnival of Flamigo is the new weekly event in Pokemon GO, replacing the Into the Depths event. This event, like others, brings numerous additional bonuses that you can enjoy with other players. The event also features plenty of rare Pokemon, spawning in the wild and hatching from eggs.

One of these Pokemon will be appearing in the game for the first time, making it the perfect chance to snag it before others. In this guide, you’ll get all the information regarding the Pokemon GO Carnival of Flamigo event.

Pokemon GO Carnival of Flamigo Event Start Date and Time

The Carnival of Flamigo event in Pokemon GO will be released on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, and will be available for 5 days. We have listed the start and the end times below.

• Start Date and Time: Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 10 AM local time
• End Date and Time: Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 8 PM local time

Once the Pokemon GO event ends, you will no longer be able to take part and obtain the rewards.

Pokemon GO Carnival of Flamigo Event Bonuses

The Carnival of Flamigo event offers bonuses for catching Pokemon, including increased Incense duration and boosted shiny rates, among others. Here’s a list of all bonuses:

• During the event, there will be a 2× Incense and a Daily Adventure Incense duration.
• There is an increased chance of encountering Shiny Lotad, Shiny Spritzee, and Shiny Pikipek
• You can also earn 500 additional Stardust for catching Flamigo.
• Event-themed new Timed Research
• Ticket for Premium Timed Research

Make sure that you use your incenses for extra Pokemon spawns. If needed, use a Starpiece for extra stardust gains. You can even purchase them from the in-game shop by spending PokeCoins.

Pokemon GO Carnival of Flamigo Event Spawns

There will be plenty of Pokemon spawning during the Carnival of Flamigo event, and some of them will have an increased shiny rate. Among the regular spawns, a new Pokemon will also be debuting in this event. We have listed all the information below.

New Pokemon Debut

As the event’s name suggests, Flamigo, the Synchronize Pokemon is debuting in the Pokemon GO Carnival of Flamigo event. Flamigo is a Fighting and Flying-type Pokemon, that cannot evolve. When a new Pokemon debuts, you can catch it to fill your Pokedex. However, its stats won’t be great, making it a poor choice for raids and PvE. Additionally, the shiny variant is unavailable in the game right now.

Pokemon GO Carnival of Flamigo Research Tasks and Rewards

Field Research Tasks and Rewards

Players can complete new field research tasks during the Carnival of Flamigo event and encounter various event-themed Pokémon. As of now, the tasks and the rewards haven’t been revealed yet. Once the information is out, we will update this section.

Free Timed Research

A free timed research will be made available as soon as the Carnival of Flamigo event starts. Players can complete missions and earn two Incense, Stardust, encounters with event-themed Pokemon and more rewards.

Paid Timed Research

A paid timed research option for the Carnival of Flamigo event is also available in the shop, which you can purchase for US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). You can buy the ticket or gift to your friends as well once they have achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher.

Completing the Paid Timed Research will give you the following rewards:

• One Star Piece
• An event-themed avatar pose
• Encounters with event-themed Pokémon
