Another year is coming to a close so quickly, isn’t it? One Piece, one of the longest-running manga, is still going strong in 2025. Author Eiichiro Oda is about to complete his yearly count of 30-35 chapters per year. As you might have noticed in recent years, the One Piece manga was once again plagued by unexpected breaks this year. With 2025 ending soon, find out how many chapters are left and also the complete release schedule of the One Piece manga here.
How Many Chapters Does One Piece Manga Have Left in 2025?

As you might know, the Elbaf arc is still underway in the One Piece manga. Readers were taken on a trip through time to witness Loki‘s backstory at first, and somehow, we ended up on the complete revelation of the God Valley Incident. The most recently released One Piece chapter was 1165, in which the God Valley flashback came to an end.
So there are 7 more chapters left in 2025, and there won’t be seven more new One Piece chapters as one might think. There are numerous breaks to consider, and here is how the current release schedule of the One Piece manga looks for the remainder of 2025:

One Piece Manga Chapter Count 2025

In case you aren’t aware, the overall chapter count per year of One Piece has been declining for the past six years. We used to get 40-50 chapters before 2019, and now we are only getting 30-35 chapters every year. 2025 was no exception, as there were numerous breaks from both the author and the magazine.
The first chapter we received this year was 1135, and now the manga is about to end with chapter 1169 in 2025. Therefore, the current One Piece chapter count for 2025 is 35 chapters based on the information available.
Let’s hope there aren’t any additional breaks that will further eliminate our chances of getting a new chapter in the remaining weekends of this year. That said, do you think the ongoing Elbaf arc will end in 2026? Let us know in the comments below.
No! One Piece manga isn’t ending in 2025 or anytime soon, as it will take another 5-7 years for the story to conclude.
Currently, the Elbaf arc is underway in the One Piece manga, and the climax of the Egghead arc is in motion in the One Piece anime at the time of writing.
We are certain that the Elbaf arc won’t end in 2025, as there are many more things left to be addressed. It will take a lot of chapters to do, and we can look forward to the ending of the Elbaf arc in 2026.
