With the Galaxy Note 10 launch on August 7 fast approaching, Samsung is trying to tempt as many people into buying the new smartphone as it can. The company has opened up pre-registrations for the Note 10 in the US, and is also offering massive trade-in discounts to people exchanging their flagship smartphones for the new Note 10.
If you exchange a Note 9, Galaxy S10, S10 Plus, or S10e, or the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, or iPhone XR, or the Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL, you’ll get a $600 discount on your purchase of the upcoming Note 10. Meanwhile, trading in an older Galaxy S9, S9 Plus, or Note 8 will get you up to $300 off on the Note 10.
Pre-bookings for the phone will start on August 7, after the Galaxy Unpacked event concludes in New York, and the company is saying that buyers will receive their phones by August 23.
The Galaxy Note 10 is expected to come with top-of-the-line specs (although there are rumors that the Note 10 will come with just a Full HD+ screen), including the latest Snapdragon 855 processor, reportedly up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB storage, and the higher-end Note 10 Plus (or Note 10 Pro) is expected to even add a TOF sensor to the rear. There are also rumors that the Note 10 will come with a relatively meager 3,500 mAh battery while the Note 10 Plus is expected to come with a 4,200 mAh battery pack with support for 45W fast charging.
It remains to be seen how much of the leaked information is actually true, and we’ll get all the answers on August 7 as the company takes to the stage to announce the latest addition to its Galaxy Note line-up of devices.
