Will There Be a New Resident Evil Game Coming?

With 2024 already halfway finished, Capcom won’t shadow-drop a popular game series like Resident Evil without any marketing.
Furthermore, as stated in a recent Capcom showcase, work on the next Resident Evil game has only recently begun. Given the announcement time, expect to wait until late 2025 and early 2026 before a new game is out!
As for what platforms it will launch on, it most certainly will come out on the current-generation platforms, which means only PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Furthermore, with the next-generation RE Engine currently in development, Capcom might use that itself.
