- The new Arc Raiders hotfix deals with elements added to the game with the Shrouded Sky update.
- Players can no longer access the Dam Control Access Zone solo using a glitch, and they must have a squad of 4 to access the area.
- Embark also removed a bug that affected the Worth Your Salt quest's last step.
With the release of Arc Raiders Shrouded Sky update, Embark Studios added a wave of new content for players to explore, including new quests and a brand new area on the Dam Battlegrounds map. However, the new patch was slightly soured by glitches and bugs that impacted multiple aspects of the game.
Thankfully, Embark has now released a brand new hotfix for Arc Raiders Shrouded Sky, tackling these glitches, especially one that made the Worth Your Salt quest an incredibly frustrating task.
Arc Raiders March 3 Patch Notes Fixes Frustrating Worth Your Salt Questline

The new hotfix, announced by Embark on their social media channels, encompasses multiple bugs that were affecting Arc Raiders since the release of the Shrouded Sky. Some of these directly impacted gameplay, allowing players to safeguard weapons without the required Arc Raiders Augments. Here is a full list of all of the changes with the new Arc Raiders Hotfix:
- Resolved an exploit that allowed weapons to be stored in safe pockets without the Safekeeper Augment.
- Addressed an issue where the Snaphook could be placed in a safe pocket while actively in use.
- Slightly lowered rare blueprint drop rates and increased high-tier material drops in First Wave Caches (Hurricane map condition).
- Deployed an urgent fix for the glitch that allowed players to access the Dam Controlled Access Zone solo.
- Fixed intermittent frame rate drops caused by certain ARC assets.
- Fixed the final stage of “Worth Your Salt” to ensure completion even if another player in the raid has already finished it.
The release of this hotfix proves that the inability to complete the Arc Raiders Worth Your Salt questline was a bug and not a feature. For those who don’t know, Raiers couldn’t finish the last step of the quest if another player in the match had already completed the quest when it was first added. However, this has been fixed with this new Hotfix.
Additionally, the infamous glitch that allowed a solo player to enter the new Dam Control Access Zone, an area only available to squads of 4, has also been fixed. The new First Wave Caches, which only spawn during the Arc Raiders Hurricane map condition, have also received an update, with a lower drop rate for blueprints and an increased drop rate for high-tier materials.
