What Is the Plot of My Hero Academia Season 8?

Yuga Aoyama, who has been forced to work as a spy for All For One, switched sides and gave the much-needed intel on the Paranormal Liberation Front. With Aoyama’s information, the superheroes were able to turn the tide against the supervillains by splitting them up and defeating them with different factions.

Though a majority of the battles have concluded, such as Dabi vs. his family, Uraraka vs. Himiko, etc, the most-awaited clashes between Armored All Might vs All For One, Deku vs. Tomura Shigaraki, and several others will take place in the final season of MHA. Thus, the story of MHA season 8 comes down to who will win in the end between the ultimate good and evil.

There is no word about the total number of episodes in My Hero Academia season 8 at the time of writing. However, the release of another anime titled Blue Niburo potentially gives away the episode count of My Hero Academia. Basically, Blue Niburo season 2 is scheduled for premiere on December 20 at the same time slot as MHA’s final season. Since we know that two anime can’t air during the same time slot in Japan, the final season of MHA will likely end before Blue Niburo season 2 premieres.

Therefore, My Hero Academia season 8 will begin airing on October 4, 2025, and will probably conclude on December 13, 2025. That’s a total of 11 weeks, and we can estimate that My Hero Academia season 8 will feature only 11 episodes based on the release schedule information.

There are only 33 chapters left to be adapted, and if the final season features 11 episodes, as the rumors suggest, each episode has to cover 3 chapters. So, let’s see how Bones studios will adapt the final saga and deliver the fitting conclusion that fans have been waiting for years.
