Is All For One Dead in My Hero Academia?

The final season of My Hero Academia has everyone on the edge of their seats to find out who will triumph at the end in the final war between superheroes and villains. Apart from Tomura Shigaraki, All For One has been the insurmountable force of nature who refuses to give up before he obtains the One For All quirk. Throughout the final war, he fought against many superheroes and was almost killed by Endeavor. In a life-or-death situation, AFO consumed the “rewind” drug made by Kyudai to enter his prime form, though he already seemed immortal.
The more he receives damages the younger he becomes. You know what I mean, right? – All Might
However, All For One continued to get younger every time he used the rewind to reverse the damage and his injuries. Since this drug’s effect was irreversible, AFO perishing at one point was inevitable. That is why the villain desperately wanted to merge and take over Tomura Shigaraki’s body to escape death.
So, when AFO tried to use all his quirks at once to somehow get to Tomura, Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight interrupted him at the right time. Bakugo unleashed all his life-ending explosions against him to keep damaging him. As a result, All For One rewinded all the way back to an infant baby. All the quirks inside him began to vanish, and there was nothing he could do to achieve his goals anymore. In the end, AFO let his emotions take control of him, and that resulted in his death.
All For One continued to rewind to the point of becoming a cell and vanished into the nothingness. He bragged about his overwhelming power at the start and that no one could take him out. Then, in his last moments, he panicked and even cried before getting erased from existence. So, yes, All For One is now dead in the MHA series.
All For One Truly Deserved This Pathetic End At the Hands of Bakugo
As seen in his origin story today, All For One considered fellow humans as mere toys he liked to play with. He did not even have an ounce of sympathy and spread his reign through terror and manipulation. In the end, it was not even All Might or Deku that killed him; it was the combined effort of all the heroes whom he considered puny, and Bakugo arrived at the right to unleash the final blow.
All For One was not just killed with a blow; the heroes forced him to dig his own grave by making him rewind to the point of vanishing from existence. Moreover, AFO felt humiliated in his last breath. To top it off, Bakugo reminded him of Kudo, who was also the key person who orchestrated all the events leading to AFO’s death. Now, that is what we call a satisfying end to the greatest villain of the MHA series, and he thoroughly deserved every single moment of it.
