Minecraft Dungeons 2 Revealed with Fall 2026 Release Window

Mojang has officially lifted the curtain on the most beloved sequel to Minecraft’s popular dungeon crawler, Minecraft Dungeons 2. Minecraft Live 2026 has revealed the return of the Minecraft spin-off with a bigger world, deeper gameplay, and an entirely new story. A lot of fans have been asking to bring back this experience, and it’s finally happening. Mojang today confirmed the existence of Minecraft Dungeons 2, and it is arriving in 2026.

Minecraft Dungeons 2 Announced

Minecraft Dungeons II is set to launch in Fall 2026, as announced at Minecraft Live 2026. It will bring a world filled with danger, loot, and mystery. This time, the game promises a larger map, higher risks, and completely new locations to explore.

At the core, this sequel remains an action RPG dungeon crawler. But, Mojang is clearly thinking of expanding it and bringing more features to the game. Here’s what you can expect:

• You will find never-before-seen regions in the Minecraft universe.
• Fight new enemies and powerful bosses.
• Take on adventures solo or co-op with up to 3 more of your friends.
• Collect massive amounts of loot and have a deeper progression system.

The trailer we all saw during Minecraft Live 2026 introduced us to a world that was once saved from great evil, but peace didn’t last long. Now, the players must step up once again as heroes to save the world.

One of the most intriguing (and unexpected) moments in the trailer shows an activated Ancient City portal in Minecraft. This strongly suggests the introduction of a new dimension or an underground realm.

As of now, we know that Minecraft Dungeons 2 will be available across the following platforms:
