Xiaomi unveiled the Mi Band 4 in China back in June, and it comes with some major improvements over the Mi Band 3, including a color AMOLED display this time around. Well, if you’ve been waiting for the company to launch its brand new fitness band in India, there’s good news for you; Xiaomi will be launching the Mi Band 4 in India on September 17.
Mi Band 4 Specs and Features
The Mi Band 4 comes with a 0.95-inch colour AMOLED display with a 120×240 resolution. Also, making use of the colour screen, are additional band faces that you can find inside the Mi Fit app, and there are some really cool ones there.
The Mi Band 4 comes with the same 5ATM water resistance rating as the Mi Band 3 from last year, which means it’s water resistant up to 50m approximately, so you can take it for a swim if you want. It also comes with an accelerometer, a gyroscope, and this time around, Xiaomi has put in Bluetooth 5.0 as compared to Bluetooth 4.2 in the Mi Band 3, so you can expect better connectivity between your phone and the Mi Band 4.
In terms of battery, Xiaomi has put in a bigger 135mAh battery on the Mi Band 4, and in our testing, it lasts around 7 days on a charge with continuous heart rate and sleep tracking turned on.
There are also a lot of features in the Mi Band 4. Apart from all the fitness tracking capabilities you’d find in the Mi Band 3, there’s support for additional activities this time around. It can obviously mirror your phone notifications on the band, and keep you updated with the weather, and more. You can decline calls, or simply mute them if you want with simple, intuitive controls. It’s a pretty solid fitness band
