When Does Marvel Rivals Season 2 Start?
The next Marvel Rivals season will arrive after the current season 1 ends. The maintenance begins at 2:00 AM PT and will end at around 5:00 AM PT, as per an official X post.
This means Marvel Rivals Season 2 starts around April 11, 2025, at 5:00 AM PT. Marvel Rivals season 2 trailer revealed all the upcoming characters, including Emma Frost. Ultron will join the roster halfway through the season.
The new season will arrive in two halves. In the first half of the season, we will see Emma Frost join the Marvel Rivals roster. From the gameplay reveals, we already know the character’s roles. Here is everything new we are getting in season 2 of Marvel Rivals:

Along with the new character, we will see the new Hellfire Gala – Krakoa map. Hellfire Gala: Krakoa will enter the Competitive pool, while Yggsgard: Royal Palace and Tokyo 2099: Shin-Shibuya will be retired from ranked play. The second half of Marvel Rivals Season 2 will have more game modes and a possible shift in the game’s tone as Ultron takes over.
