When a new store named Pym Test Kitchen arrived in Marvel Rivals, players were rightly speculating that the devs were teasing the potential arrival of Ant-Man as a Hero. These theories briefly lost steam when Season 6 was confirmed to feature Deadpool and Elsa Bloodstone. However, Netease are once again fanning the Ant-Man flames by adding a new mechanic that is directly tied to the Marvel character’s superpowers. In fact, you can dabble with the mechanic yourself in the Times Square map.

To find out more, here’s a guide on the Marvel Rivals Pym Test Kitchen, and how to become really giant, or incredibly small.

Pym Test Kitchen is a location on the Times Square map in Marvel Rivals. After loading into the party hub, turn right to spot the glowing sign for Van Dyne’s Fashion Boutique. Sitting just ahead of it is a small booth for the Pym Test Kitchen.

Walk up to the booth and you’ll see a flashing notification to interact with it. After pressing it, you’ll get a notification asking if you’d like to consume a Pym-Ini Sandwich. Hit yes, and depending on your luck, your character’s size will expand or shrink. There is no way to pick the sandwich’s effects, and a one-hour cooldown timer kicks in after you consume the item. Its also worth noting that you’ll enlarge or shrink to different sizes, this also randomized.

If you’re familiar with Ant-Man, you’ll know that Dr. Hank Pym was the scientist behind the superhero’s powers in the comics. So, seeing his name pop up in Marvel Rivals alongside the shrinking/enlargement feels like an obvious tease for the potential arrival of Scott Lang. There’s also a chance that Netease are testing the mechanic by letting players try it out. Although, this is highly unlikely.

With all that being said, what do you think of the easter egg? Let us know in the comments.
