Marvel Rivals Jeff’s Winter Splash LTM Explained: How to Play, Rewards, and More

Marvel Rivals is embracing the winter festivities like no other hero shooter on the market, and the devs are even bringing back the fan-favorite Jeff’s Winter Splash mode. The LTM’s previous appearance came in December 2024, giving everyone’s favorite land shark a cozy game mode to glide around in. This year, Winter Splash is getting revamped and expanded to allow for even more fuzzy chaos, as well as a new set of rewards.

With this in mind, here’s everything you need to know about Jeff’s Winter Splash in Marvel Rivals, including an overview of the LTM and a look at the rewards.

How to Play Jeff’s Winter Splash LTM in Marvel Rivals

Just like last year, the Marvel Rivals Winter Splash LTM can be found within the ‘Play’ tab. The mode itself is basically a shark-themed spin on Splatoon, where you and your teammates will need to cover the map with more paint than the opposition. Every player is locked to Jeff with the ‘Cuddly Fuzzlefin’ costume pre-equipped, and the mode’s map is customized to fit the wintery mood.

In terms of mechanics, you can spray paint on enemies to deplete their health and eliminate them. On taking damage, you can submerge into the ground painted in your team’s colors to regain health. As opposed to other modes in the game, we recommend spending as little time fighting enemies as possible and spraying around as much paint as you can.

For Winter Splash’s latest iteration, the devs have expanded it to three teams, meaning it’s a 4v4v4 experience. Furthermore, you’ll now be able to pick between three Jeff builds. Think of them like the different weapon types from Splatoon, as all three differ on the basis of projectile speed and coverage. Additionally, the LTM has been handed its very own map, called Jeffland. As you’d expect, the arena is basically a winter wonderland, complete with Christmas decorations, ice sculptures, a carousel, and even a Ferris Wheel that you can actually ride.

Just like last year, you’ll likely be able to earn event current by playing Winter Splash LTM matches. These can be used to redeem rewards in the LTM page that are yet to be confirmed. That said, the event’s special ‘Cuddly Fuzzlefin’ costume will certainly be one of them.
