Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is confirmed to have a total of 23 episodes. This season is split into two cours to release the anime adaptation of two of the best arcs in JJK. The first cour features the Hidden Inventory/ Premature Death arc, which just ended with a total of 5 episodes.

Also known as Gojo’s Past arc, we saw him dreaming about his past. It includes the battle between Gojo and Toji Fushiguro as well as how Gojo and Geto’s friendship ended, and they went in different directions. As you might have noticed, JJK season 2 episode 5 aired on August 3, 2023. In line with that, the 6th episode should have been scheduled to release on August 10, 2023. Instead, season 2 will continue on August 31, 2023.
